She is a great country singer but what everyone needs to realize is she is also a great song writer , she writes her songs, she came from nothing she is truly a force to be seen.
magpower4 it’s just for performance she’s always smiling like that, she’s probably being made to lip sync too. All the performers in that time period smiled like that
I think Loretta just chooses to project all of her anger on the other woman. Dolly understands that her man is a more than willing participant. She’s able to show empathy toward Jolene because she knows in the end, it’s her man that is betraying her, not Jolene.
+Tanya Joseline I personally do not like Taylor Swift, She's not Country. However Shania Twain went middle of the road long before Taylor did. Thank God Terri Clark still sticks to her roots. Regards from the UK
This is technically pop. Just like most people dismiss the entire genre of 'country', you can't just throw 'pop' under the bus like that. It's not like country music back then was full of winners, either. Check out Sturgill Simpson.
The constant, genuine smile as she sings this fight song. LOL. Hubby's side piece thought she could confront and intimidate her. I love Loretta, the happy warrior. You seldom see people as comfortable in their own skin as Loretta Lynn was. What a treat she was.
LL has real song writing chops. She and Mooney built themselves from the ground up and learned everything the hard way. Not only was she a brilliant lyricist she wrote the music, played it, sang it on top of having kids to take care of. She's paid her dues and some. I love her voice and her delivery.
Hello Janine how are you doing, I hope you are doing fine.. I'm hendrych from Houston, Texas.. You seem like a real Country girl, where are you from? 😊😊
*laughs and holds sides* ....never mess with a woman who can sing "...over my dead body. So get out while you can. 'Cause you ain't woman enough..." with a true smile on her face. Good luck, Sister.
Thanks alot dear I really appreciate all your support and comments 💖💖. Thanks for listening to my music, and I would love to know you more if you don't mind dear👍😍😍👋
The Coal Miner's Daughter and the First Lady of Country Music. R. I. P Loretta gone but not forgotten you will truly be missed by me and millions of people around the world
Loretta Lynn is singing with the angels today. She passed yesterday, Oct 4, 2022 Rest In Peace, Loretta... and thank you for all the beautiful music. 💕🎶🎼🎶💕
Here after her passing, my sister and I listened to her all the time growing up in the 60s and 70s. Love her. My sister named her first daughter Loretta Lynn.
just watched coal miners daughter for probably the 10th time in my life and realized i really never heard this women sing. the world hasnt always been at our finger tips. Yeah, Sissy did a great job, but Lorettas voice is amazing. now i know what all the fuss is about lol.
Jack white was so lucky to have that opportunity. I love it how he isn’t even American or Southern but wanted to be apart of our culture. Such a Great song.
She is surely the true queen of country. came from a hard life never changed her appearance and always was beautiful inside and out. We're going to truly miss you Loretta 😢💖♥️😘
Thank you for being the voice that turned my attention to country music when I was a little girl growing up in Connecticut and for sharing your gift of songwriting and singing to the world. You were the greatest and will be dearly missed.
Rest well sweet angel, I really loved and appreciated your music, style, and your determination to make it. I was named after your sister. We love you Loretta. 1932-2022.
This song brings back so many wonderful memories. My grandfather only owned one album and yes it was you ain’t women enough. He would play it and I would sing. He used to say I have my very own Loretta right here in my holler. I’m now 65 and he’s gone , because of Loretta Lynn’s music I have great memories. My dream is to meet her, never had the change being a military wife I was never around when she had a concert. Got to meet crystal Gayle though even got a hug. I cried I was so happy. It would be the grandest thrill of my life. God bless you Loretta Lynn for giving us great music and sharing your life with us.
My mom turned me on to Loretta's songs. Absolutely love her. A young girl from the back hills, NOT born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Happy birthday, Loretta!
Came here after the news of her passing. Will never be another like Loretta Lynn. RIP sweet Loretta Lynn. You inspired so many women and young girls. Queen of country music.
R.I.P. you first-class lady. Your music, your voice, your smile, your personality, and your genuine good-hearted nature brough so much joy, good times, and happiness to millions.
You will always have a special place in my heart. You'll never be forgotten. You're with Dooo, now . Rest in peace. Sing like the Angel you are .❤💔💔❤10/4/22
