This was good for the judge though. The judge thinks like us that she has no remorse and this rant PROVES she has no remorse. If she had an ounce of sincerity she would have begged the judge for the death penalty so she can be "happy and busy" with her children in "the spiritual world."
Actually because I have followerd this case since it started I was glad to hear Lori Vallow Daybell speak in her syrupy sweet, gentle voice and descibe how she thinks to make it 100% obvious *Lori is a danger to children, to men, and to society.*
This is the height of pompousness, piety and brazen audacity. That she could even speak these words to the people whose loved ones she has murdered is beyond any belief. Her delusions and narcissism know no limits.
Lori’s the victim in this? She sounds absolutely deranged. May Tylee, JJ, Tammy, and Charles all rest peacefully. I hope Lori’s life in prison is miserable.
She is just lucky I am not meting out the justice in this case, because I would start by having her lying tongue cut out, so she could no longer lie, no longer speak the names of her victims or put lies in the mouth of Jesus, and so that she could never taste sweetness again. That would be followed by making sure she could never write or type again, so she could never communicate with anyone again, ever. SHE LOST THE PRIVILEGE WITH SO MANY LIES. Then put her in solitary with a mirror & forget her there.
If I understood her sentence correctly even if she dies and gets reincarnated, like 143 times, she has to spend all of that time in prison. Well, we will all be safer.
My mother developed schizophrenia when I was six years old. She thought that God was speaking to her and I slowly became terrified of her because she would come and sit on my bed at night after my father had gone to sleep, exhausted by her antics. She always brought a knife, talked complete religious rubbish, and I was sure she was going to kill me. In her mind she was protecting me but I always knew that at some point her "protection" might include my death. This sounds exactly like the nonsense she would spout. My mother's illness pushed me into medicine, I had a wonderful 40 year career as a family doctor that I'm so thankful for during which I advocated for mental illness, had three kids, five grandchildren and I'm now 78 years old, but I'm well aware that everything could have been changed forever sixty years ago. We need far more research into this illness that changes so many lives forever because it seems to me that we haven't progressed one inch in sixty years.

There May be no cure, but I think the point is to recognize how dangerous this type of delusion can be with the right ingredients. When someone calls the cops and says, hey my wife/husband thinks he or she is a God, it should be taken seriously. I can see everything else being blown off as Charlse being a bitter Ex, but if someone thinks they're a God, they're going to try and play the part

I can’t believe that she’s not even mentally “present” in this courtroom to take responsibility for her actions. Lori brutally took the lives of her own babies. How does she not realize that what she’s saying is incredibly horrifying! Not even an an ounce of remorse or an apology.

There has to be some limit to what they allow the defendent to say. She is just crazy, to let her ramble and say how happy the people she murdered are now is just insulting.

This woman is the poster child for the death penalty. The fact that she didn't get it means our justice system suckes! And so does this judge who is supposed to hand down fair sentences. He missed the boat on this one!

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a meaningful allocution. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. My take on her reason for speaking: Today was her last chance to pretend to preach to the pretend 144,000 who will survive the end of the world and of whom she is pretending to be born to lead. Also, she was letting Chad know she is a godess and still in on the game they were playing.
