With all the band issues and allegations with CJ aside, this album is an absolute masterpiece in all aspects, everything is just so well rounded and done to perfection, I can’t wait to see where Lorna goes from here with whoever they choose next.
Rhys Bird if they wouldn’t have kicked him out immediately after the allegations, the entire band would’ve gotten hate, i assume that’s what they were thinking.
This is by far Lorna Shore's most brutal and heavy song. This shit fucking reigns supreme. That opening riff makes me wanna put on armor and storm a castle.

@@MartiniScreamz definitely true, will showed a bit more variance, but cj had the slammy dirty feel that this album seethed in terms of content. As well as the style. Glad Adam is the driving force and still keeping what the fans love though and Austin is still bringing more thunder than Thor
@@Bertis87 Idk if I agree. CJ's voice is more brutal but he's quite one-note compared to Will. His lows are great, but I'd say at best they're equivalent to Will's, while CJ has way worse highs and mids (not to say they're bad, just not as good as Will). My opinion of course.

For me it was SOAD,Metallica,and Seether as a baby and when I was younger,when j was twelve it became slipknot,then gojira,then korn,and finally deathcore
When CJ left Signs of the Swarm, I thought it was the end for them. Now they have a new vocalist that does almost the exact same work as CJ, so nothing is impossible. We need to keep on supporting them and eventually everything will come together and hopefully they'll find a new vocalist soon. Greetings everyone.
There are a lot of aspiring death metal vocalists out there so I'll be positive and hope Lorna Shore can find someone to fill that role and keep going would be a shame if they had to stop after dropping this masterpiece of an album.
At 2:08 - 2:20 . I have listened to this song dozens of times, maybe closer to a hundred times. This breakdown is still such that it just hits hard and keeps hitting. I would argue that this is one of the hardest breakdown ever in my opinion. Can't wait for new music from CJ's band

King ov deception is the best deathcore song I've ever heard. When I heard this song two years ago my mind exploded. And since then I have to listen to this masterpiece every day!

I feel as if the parts where he's doing those absolutely incredible demonic vocals, it's more of just vocal fill ins. Kind of like a guitar solo but with vocals and it seems like they were like, "hey, we should wright lyrics to these parts anyway lol". I know that's not true but my god is it hard to match the lyrics with those vocals. Almost no pronunciation AT ALL.😂😂😂

This is an excellent example on how take distance between the music, the artist and the person behind that art. This album, from the artistic point of view is beyond incredible. An instant classic in the genre. Just amazing. If you are ignoring this awesome record for CJ's situation, you are really wrong.

I never thought i could enjoy Lorna Shore any more than i already did The sheer heaviness and musicianship is so beautiful & clear and the effort they've put into it, is significant because it is not dull or boring at all to listen to and i especially enjoy the BM vibe / sound. They deserve credit for each song on the album imo, because every song is able to shine on its own and be interesting all the way through. Despite the chaos and unfortunate circumstances they pushed through and remain humble i also want to quote Adam on a post he made right before the release (i think it was before the release) "What we ask is listen to this from a neutral standpoint. Not from the drama around the vocalist, or how it wasn’t put on when you wanted it, or re-recorded vocals, to instrumentally. Listen to it as is. Listen to it from a place of art and a place of this is music. Period. This record is so much bigger than the noise that is surrounding it in our eyes. OK. BEST TRACK ON THE ALBUM. Strongest vocals in the game, so many fun bouncy riffs, an emotional hook and basically a vocal technique clinic during that well earned breakdown. The icing on the cake is that little sweepy riff on the outro. This song is genera defining for blackened deathcore 10/10. It's going to be a challenge to find vocal talent on this level again but I understand why Lorna parted ways.

Say what you what but musically this is finally fulfilling the potential that Black Metal have been promising and failing to deliver for the last 40 years. Finally a sound that matches the subject in how dark and harrowing it is. It took 3 generations of musicians and countless innovations (musical, instrumental, production values) but we're finally there.
