and on top, he's really risking long term damage if he does not get surgery if it is a case where it would be medically indicated. I also had a herniated disc and because the doctors took to long to send me for surgery, I have a partially numbed left foot because the nerve took the damage for too long

Wow what a performance !! The band sounded great and Will is proving everyone wrong who said he couldn’t pull it off live. What a beast. These guys just may be the top deathcore band out there now, or at least in the top three, along with Slaughter to Prevail and Shadow of Intent.

I've seen Rammstein so many times live and I can break down their live performance. It's easy. You know that meme about if there's somewhere with oil you'll see an American flag pop up out of nowhere? I was also surprised that Will doesn't use layering tracks to beef up the sound. I was even curious to see whether he would go for the high screams or the low growls live with the opposite as the backing track. Maybe he likes to improvise a bit on which one he's doing? Either way, he pulls it off. edit: Also I agree that Lorna Shore's song composition is great. Honestly, most death metal/grindcore/etc bands kind of suck at it, which is why I find most of it boring. Like they have all of the technical ability but none of the artistry, it's just 5 minutes of blast beats and guitar wankery. Lorna Shore actually has song structure with builds and drops and catharsis. If you try to make every note staccato, it loses the meaning.

Was on their concert last week in Oslo 😁 Also got to meet the band. Me and my friends were hanging with Andrew several hours, and he is a really kind guy! 😄 He now carries the Mjølnir my friend made and gave to him 😊 I will definitely go see them again on another tour 😁

I've watched this whole show twice. 2 things stood out. How amazing of a drummer Austin is, there were multiple times the drums alone gave me goosies. And 2, how effortless Will makes these insane vocals look the entire show. I can't get enough of this band right now...

I am not normally into this type of metal. My jam is metalcore and this is a little harsher than i'd go for. BUT, there is something with this EP. I can't tell what it is yet, but it's got hooks in me. I keep coming back and listening again.

Obviously he has insane growls and tunnel throat but I can’t get over how nasty and crispy his high vocals are. Ima sucker for really high pitched screams it just goes so well with the disgusting lows haha

Seeing Live Videos from my favorite Bands is always a Doublesided Sword, because they almost never Sound as good as ,of course, on CD . But Live Versions are a completely different kind of thing. Lorna Shore however are in that Category in a League of their own. Monsters !!! And also Congrats to you TankTeTech ! You are a fresh breeze in the React Category . That was one of my thoughts too how does Adam play these solos almost in the dark. Crazy how tight everthing was and how well they played considering this was only the second show they've played in over a year! For me is this EP really impressive, cause it’s way harder as the metal music I’m normally into. But the create such epic harmonies, that I can’t stop listing to it - specially the slow Metrum with double bass always on point. And I Return To Nothingness is my absolute favorite, but I like all of them. The stuff that catches me the most on this release is how they've progressed as just wonderful song writers. I'm always a sucker for the symphonic elements that they always add in as well.

From my experience, people who play with backing tracks are really skilled. Because with backing tracks it seems to require precise timing on the band's part.

Bruhhh, a herniated disc? Jesus. I've got some kind of disc degeneration/nerve damage going on, what a gnarly dude. The perfomance was a bit flashy for me (I'm also photosensitive to that shit and prone to migraines), so sadly, even if I'd known about their CT show in advance, probs best I didn't go see em, but I sure as shit did listen. Can also "confirm" no vocal tracks, imo. Will's vocals are great, but you have that mic feedback and raw aspect to it that makes it sound just a bit "messy", and you can hear that in every sound he makes. If there were tracking, it'd be much, much cleaner sounding. This band friggin rocks.

Their monitor console is certainly an X32 Rack. That silhouette is just unmistakeable. I run one in an IEM rack as well and it is really transparent and versatile, especially considering the relatively low price of 750€/900$ new. Also maybe an interesting fact: Their rack features Sennheiser ew IEM G4 transmitters and a Focusrite Scarlett 3rd Gen 18i20 for track injection and MIDI switching via the laptop.

This song, gives me chills everytime I hear it. To the Hellfire hits different than this one. They to me are as good as the other but different. The intricate writing and instrumental work is impeccable. I've become a huge fan of this band. I'm so impressed with the skill it takes to not just perform this, but to write it.

I live in Italy and I simply hope they'll be able to play on 14th February 2022 here, though I'm not sure because of the covid-19 restrictions. I'n stoked as fuck because they'll be touring with Carnifex and Chelsea Grin and, if someone doesn't know, the former Lorna Shore singer, Tom Barber, sings for Chelsea Grin, so it's actually pretty special to me seeing Lorna Shore and Tom at the same concert together, since this band and Tom's lyrics at his time in the band are one of the reasons I deal with shitty situations

Love this! As a sound engineer I really appreciate hearing other engineers opinions or thoughts. I myself have a lot to learn still. But I’m curious for recording purposes I’d they used a matrix as a send to the recording or an aux out and mixed it live. Or recorded to a daw to mix later. I haven’t had much luck with using a matrix, My house fader is low at -15db (I think) but I have to use high gain for my Dante network to get enough signal on individual channels. I personally prefer using an aux out and mix for a send that way. What are your go to’s for recording.

It’s the x32 for sure 😎 What this band needs live is a Cymatic Audio Utrack24 (rack unit) so they can ditch that glowing laptop on stage which totally breaks the stage mood and scène when dark. Also it’s way more reliable than a laptop that can fall or fail because of stage vibrations and stuff. Practical, it’s again one less thing to carry and or to loose while touring (trust me, all those one of things that can be all over the place in the building after the show addssss up). It can also switch scenes within the same song for the Kemper users if they like. They can even add a light programming to it if they want. 24 channels to output, so can give several single channels within one backing track as a multitrack to your FOH. This gives you the opportunity to push violins more than the opera choir for example. It can also record 24 channels if that’s something you like to do. Options are almost endless Second, they need a snare trigger. As much as I like their drummer, he is insanely good and better than I’ll ever be, but when blasting almost the only thing you hear is kicks and some cymbals. Not a deal-breaker for most people, some fans wouldn’t even notice when there is even no kick at all, but heyyyyy that’s how it just works. In the end, you want everything to be there. For the purists, for potential partners, and for growth. Again all those little things end up in the end.

Jesus, I wasn't sure if Will would sound the same after seeing a live of to the hellfire but bad recording. they sound damn near the same from the record. this is a great song too!! Wow. I had no idea they could sound this good live. Also thanks for pointing out the upcoming tour - it won't be coming to my town, but they have a show not too far away and I might have to find my way down there. If you want to check out some more live performances, my favorite band, Synlakross, has been releasing live sessions for their latest album. They are a female fronted melodic death metal band from Spain, and while they're unfortunately not as well known as (for example) Jinjer, I highly recommend checking them out. I've had to rewatch a few times! Thanks for doing the live version. The Revolver video was so awesome 🤘🏻 I've watched it twice now. This is the best song on the EP. these guys are on to something special, and I don't even like Death Core, but I like the current combo in Lorna Shore. Let's GO!!!
