Lorna Shore and Shadow of Intent are my two favorite bands right now. Symphonic Blackened Deathcore is the best genre on the planet right now, its so sick.
Both are top bands for me too right now hands down , although it will be in the direction of symphonic death metal for Shadow of Intent for their next release.
@@skilledbros that song was relentless and like a slap in the face aggressive I loved it. Symphonic death metal/deathcore is the most dynamic and interesting for me personally.
Slide on over to black metal m'dude, we've got a whole universe of different sounds and styles to explore. Every band is wholly unique from one another, to the same extent you can't compare Dream Theater with Rammstein, for example.
@@anfie2495 ehhhhhhhh, alot of the black metal albums have similar songs to eachother, but what makes black metal so great is the atmosphere and the emotion that is produced from the songs. bands like Saor, Spectral Wound, Prevalent Resistance, Gorgoroth, Marduk and even Windir are a prime example of bands that have great atmosphere. black metal is a form of musical art. \m/
@@anfie2495 even der weg einer freiheit and Mgla. mgla takes old black metal and mixes it with new black metal, it's very good. give the "excersises in futility I" and "Aurora" by der weg einer freiheit. the songs melody is just something you cant enough of.
Their EP was originally supposed to be a full length album but due to the global health issues (real words are blocked on here) the record label Lorna Shore is on only decided on doing an EP with the band instead - Paraphrasing is what Will recently stated in an interview. Hopefully we eventually get the full length. \m/
@@ghostgate82 to a certain extent. Some countries simply don’t have the resources for any kind of epidemic to hit their country. But none the less it’s unfortunate the health issues pushed them to release an ep over an album
Adam has stated on another channel that it was the label that said they couldn't put out an album due to the contract and album cycles, but that they could do an EP. Originally they were thinking of re-recording older songs with Will, but decided on 2 or 3 singles to showcase him...it turned in to this EP.
Thank you so much for the great videos bro, and oh hell yeah I love this song, that choir is something else man, mixed with Goblin Ramos and shred flintstone on the kit over there, not to mention the guitar boiz.... masterpiece
I think it's sometimes easy for people to gloss over the all around musicianship of a band like this, especially since we all know Will is a beast, but so is the entirety of this band and it shows in this whole EP this is probably my favorite song off this, all three of these songs tho are very well done
I have no words... I can't stop listening to it... How could a band in wathever genre linked to metal perform something decent after this ??? seriously...
Favorite song on the album, but all 3 are great! I believe they said they had to do an EP due to the contract with their label. They're are in the process of writing a full album.
I reccomend Infant Annihilator. the goblin king - Dickie Allen - is such an amazing singer, able to twist his vocals like nothing. Songs I reccomend are Soil the Stillborn, Necropocalypse, Blasphemian, or even a Shadow of Intent - the catacombs where he's at the very end of the song.
Can't wait to see your reaction on the title track. To me the choir and orchestra and synths are the highlights of these songs and imo the last one has the best of that
I can tell you a little bit about the mixing. I know Adam (guitar) and Austin (drums) are the main songwriters. Adam does most, Austin does the drum patterns and gives input. They also have a producer with which they work together who "pretty much always says yes to any idea that we might have" (paraphrasing Adam in an interview).
Would you please check out the band Imminence. Check out Paralyzed first then get the song Infectious followed by Erase. It’s a 3way video/song storyline with three videos connected. It’s a violin in metalcore. Also check out the band called Angelmaker and the song Blood for Blood
Can you please do a full Kostolom album reaction, the hype followed through. Probably the most complete and best deathcore album I’ve listened to, 10/12 songs are absolute bangers and the other two are still pretty good.
@@SuperDarkdragon99 Yeah same for me. It gets boring quick too for me. Idk, something is missing. Lorna Shore or Brand of Sacrifice are waaaay better deathcore bands.
Three Bastards is a more accessible song, but for the entertainment value of scaring the crap out of him, yes Blasphemian is the perfect song for that.
Quite honestly, I love those tracks but certain mixing/production choices kind of throw me off. I like how clear the symphonic elements sound, but I prefer the guitar driven approach of Immortal. In this EP the guitars feel buried under the drums and layers of instrumentations.
Deathcore is always be deathcore cannot be Black Deathcore shit mashup...sorry Black Metal Elitist doesn't care about this shit..NO CORE! NO MOSH! NO FUN! NO TREND!...
