Near the end of her life, when she could still get around, my dear mother and my dad went to the Opry, (we all lived in California) Lorrie Morgan performed. My mom just loved her. I asked if she sang "Dear Me..?" Mom said that she did. A precious memory for me.

Over 30 years now. Every time I see this video. It makes me cry. So beautiful.

This song and "I Guess You Had To Be There" with Kris K. (the video) are my two favorites. Just incredible voice and pure soul. She doesn't hold back! Makes an old man cry.

Always perfection. One in a million voice, made perfectly for country music. Not to mention how stunningly beautiful she is! Sooo miss the 90s music... the kind of lyrics & vocals that reached in & touched your soul. There's a few in current country, but not near as many as the 90s.

Ive always loved her music..I was like 17 years old when this song came out and it was quickly one of my all time favorites.

90s country babes were great.... Lorrie was the blond and blue eyed angel. I remember so many women rocking this look.

Ironically, Lorrie recorded this song and the album "Leave the Light On", which contained "Dear Me", "Out of Your Shoes", "Trainwreck of Emotion", "He Talks to Me", and "Five Minutes" prior to Keith's untimely death. I have this album on CD, plus Lorrie's other albums "Greeter Need", "Something in Red", "Watch Me", and "War Paint".

I don't know why so many people think she has passed. She is still touring. She will be at the Opry tomorrow.

Just watched your Grand Ol' Opry feed. Flew out of Tennessee 2 days ago. Would have LOVED to see you perform. BRAVO! This song really hit me when it came out 30+ years ago. I heard it for the first time in Pioneer Market, Lockeford, California on my lunch break. So soothing and beautiful. Perfect.

I went to piketon ohio but lorrie cancealed her concert i went in a bar n left with a woman that looked like lorrie somehow thats happend to a extent twice to me lorrie n jenny humh.

I remember when she did this song shortly after Keith Whitley's death

Of course I was not there and do not know all the facts but based on what I read I still find the events of that day very strange in my mind. How does a man go from being "on the wagon" and complete sobriety that morning and talking and joking around with a friend and planning to play golf later that day to passing away due to alcohol poisoning in around three hours? There would likely have had to be a trigger for that to happen which is usually some very stressful event. I have had some experience with recovering alcoholics and many of them do fine under normal circumstance after they have set goals for themself to either regain or avoid the loss of someone or something they hold in esteem. It is when something stressful happens that they tend fall back on the old habit.

So, tell him.

A blurry 360p video that seems slightly out of sync in some scenes gives the impression she's a star of the 1920's. Very unprofessional.

This song sounds like someone is spreading a whole lot of cheese on top of it. Lorrie, you can do, and have done, much better than this.
