As a Mexican kid, I legit used to HATE this type of music because you'd go to a kids party and stuff like this would be playing while the adults would get shit faced. Well, I eventually grew older and fell in love with it as well (and enjoy it plenty sober! Ha). Seriously amazed by the soul and musical instrumentation found in this kind of music. I can pass you a really good Spotify playlist if you ever wanna do some dancin' or just chill and enjoy 🙂

Los Ángeles azules yeah are old school but were at Coachella LA back in 2018 and was an awesome success even Justin Bieber was dancing! First Hispanic band at Coachella!
I love this song. And the music. It’s cumbia. My husband is from México and he sings Nunca es suficiente by these guys to me. I love to dance to this music. This song plays at every party we go to. Funny thing is, I’m usually the only white person at these parties and I get treated like family. I love it.
No se si ya conoces la historia de los Ángeles Azules, eran muy muy pobres, la mamá no tenía para alimentarlos y por eso le gustaba que fueran a tocar a las fiestas para que les dieran comida. El padre de ellos tenía un transporte y como no tenían para comprar instrumentos ellos enpeñaron las placas del transporte para comprar lo que les hacía falta. Es una larga historia y me da mucho gusto que se hayan convertido en un ícono en las fiestas mexicanas.
Us Mexican folk in South Central LA would wake up every Saturday morning and it was a sign of Get your butt up and get to cleaning the house with your 4 sisters while Mom cooks and our Brothers and Dads went outside to do yard work. Amazing times. I wouldn't change them for anything. Music blasting as loud as you could crank it. P. S. we didn't have fabuloso in the 80's. We had Pinesol. 😜

This song came out in 1996 it was written by the family Mejia who are the Angeles Azules (blue angels) The guy who sings the song has separed from the band. He's name is Charly and and left the group of Angeles Azules to create one of his own. In 1999 he makes a new band called los Angeles de Charly. But Charly is the one who sings "Como te voy a olvidar"
