Red or purple It's inconvenient because the guidance is difficult to understand But I'm living in Yokohama. Absolutely The Los Angeles Metro has more lines than the Yokohama subway. It's developing.

Yeah, weirdly unused for a city of 4 million.

@@danielkelly2210 LA isn't designed like a normal city, it's more like 100 suburbs stuck next to each other. Most of the city's growth occurred during an era of car obsession so the land use isn't conducive to mass transit (sprawl, separation of uses, etc). The train is unfortunately not useful to the extreme majority of LA county residents because the places they want to go are too far away from stations and they'd need to drive to get to the stations in the first place, I think that it's going to take more than 50 years before LA's transit modeshare is competitive with private cars.

@@josephsands7938It's true that the metro system (subway and light rail) is still not comprehensive enough for the vast majority. However, it won't take 50 years to make it useful and practical enough for a much larger group of people. By 2028 Olympics it will be comprehensive enough to see usage double or triple what you see today. That's still nowhere close to NYC numbers but it would make LA Metro system the 2nd largest in the USA. BTW, the ridership in this video hasn't returned to pre Covid numbers either. It should recover in about another year. As an example, I live in East LA and hadn't taken Metro since before Covid. I finally hopped on it again when the new Regional Connector opened. I took the E line all the way to Santa Monica Pier and beach. I hadn't been to the Pier in about 20 years. Why? Mostly because it was inconvenient to a large extent. You would have to go early to get parking and it was expensive too. Never had taken Metro to SM before because it was also inconvenient. Too many transfers and then waiting for the different trains every time. Finally, now, I can get on one train and take it all the way to the Santa Monica Pier. It's a game changer for me personally! It's great! I've been to the beach twice already this year. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who has a similar story.

@17:05 Is the guy in checkered shirt and a cap trying to stalking that young guy in front of him, seeing his running like that?

or maybe he’s running so the guy doesn’t have to hold the door open for so long
