CP FULLERTON: The Orange Subdivision (Amtrak Pacific Surfliner) merge with the San Bernardino Subdivision (Amtrak Southwest Chief) northwest towards Fullerton Station.
I have a cab ride video of that line. It’s really a busy passenger line. So do you think I’d have an easy time riding the Pennsylvanians rear from Philadelphia to Harrisburg? I’d hate to spend money on a ticket and then not be able to do it.
I wanted to do a cab ride on the way back but they roped off the few rows so it was really hard to frame the shot well and the angle would have been very narrow. I can't guarantee anything but I did not have any problems shooting rear-views on the Pennsylvanian 3 times over 3 different months with 3 different crews. the conductor came to scan my ticket and asked where my seat was and I sit on the row closest to the rear vestibule and they just stuck the seat check there and didn't bother me. you might get some stares from passengers but you could always mount a suction cup if you don't wanna stand for close to 2 hours.
@@nathanjiang100 when you say a cab right I guess you’re talking about those Metroliner control cars. If you wanna try to do one from Philadelphia to New York, try train 652. I know the engineer on that train and he’s usually pretty cool to rail fans and he knows who I am. His name is Reuben. Loves donuts
@3985uprr yeah that’s fair lol. but yeah it’s definitely worth trying, and with the new Siemens trainsets on the horizon you might not have long so do it while you can.
@@3985uprryeah we all know Reuben! he used to be the king of hornshows before he got in trouble but he’s still super cool. I’ve talked to him a few times but I have friends who know him better.
