@@nicopino786 Yeah, but if that's his only source of income then it's actually really bad. The average rent in LA county is around $2500, if he pays half of that it's $15k/yr in rent PLUS taxes and cost of livings. He's maybe making just enough to not live in a cardboard box.
@@justindilworth8385I can live on less. I always have somewhere I can stay in exchange for some general land maintenance, or helping take care of animals. $50 is more than enough beans and rice for a month. So I would still have extra money to get some nice things.
He’s a bartender and smokes weed; the other one’s a recording artist that smokes weed. And she practices skating while smoking weed and experimenting with drugs. Welcome to Cali
You work at a corrugation plant? I used to work at one.. I was there during the first recession.. was making about 50k as 23 year old w no college degree. But it was a demanding job. Lots of mandatory overtime and weird, messed up hours.
House Hunters LA- I'm a hobby skater and make $100-$300 dollars a month and my husband is a volunteer drug abuse counselor on skid row. Our budget is $1.5 million
Lmfao the bartender is going to get a visit from the IRS. If he’s not lying which I think he probably is, but if he’s not u know he’s not claiming that amount on his taxes 😬
It’s actually not that uncommon, especially in SoCal. I used to work as a host at an upscale restaurant in Manhattan Beach and I remember hearing the insane tips the servers/bartender were making.
im a lvn and make less than that bartender but than again i only work 32 hours a week but still wtf. id probably make the same as that bartender working 40 hours a week
Not too unusual. I’ve worked in basic chain restaurants and servers and bartenders can make 50k so in CA with their prices and volume, 75k sounds right. CA I think also has higher base pay compared to the 2.13 in half the states
sounds crazy but in a prime spot like venice/ LA and depending on what type a place a person bartends at, they can EASILY make this annually working full time.
