Congrats mate! Happy that you took me advise to get help :D. Regarding the Di2. I was building a bike the other day for myself and I am happy that I've decided fol old mechanic shifting :). It would be the death of me if the Di2 would die on me during a race and seeing PRO's having issues with it, I am glad that I went old school :).

Lionel, First off you have to know I am a huge fan of who you have been, who you are now, and who you are becoming. As a mental skills trainer I got to say that you will “screw up” again... and that’s ok! You know as well as I do that you need to drop the expectations and GET PRESENT out side racing (You love racing so much because it requires you to be present...)! Don’t let yourself be sucked into the thinking trap that you can control the future when you are not racing or training. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are at between the events. You HAVE proven your GRIT, I personally just looking forward to watching you apply that grit to your head game. Rooting for you all the way!

Lionel and Nate Diaz have to meet! They have the same kill or be killed warrior mentality and lI'm sure would share great mutual respect between them. Diaz and his brother Nick do tri's when not fighting, and have expressed in interviews their huge respect top level triathletes. Talbot, can you get Lionel's people to talk to Nate's people and make it happen? Maybe they could do a ride/run together and then Nate could teach Lionel how to grapple and spar and you could film the whole thing and they each post the content on their respective YT channels and get huge views...win, win win! 😁
