When they started playing they were kids. they called themselves “Los Clavelitos”. They would win all the talent shows here in Eagle Pass. They were destined to be legends in the tejano industry. They always put on a show. I remember driving by their house on Williams st. And could here them jamming and honing their skills.

I totally agree about Jimmy Garcia could play and sing without messing up ; kept playing so perfectly well. Gave his all every concert . Jimmy could have reached top talent and a wonderful career, unfortunately we’ll never know…….

Tuvo un accidente automovilistico en eagle pass texas, venia hacia monterrey y dormito al volante, volco su camioneta y fallecio por los golpes, no recuerdo bien el año, pero hicieron un especial donde platicaban sobre eso cuando murio en el canal 2 de ese entonces en monterrey, en un programa llamado capital grupera que conducia Jorge luis ramirez, no eh logrado encontrarlo, pero en fin fue por eso.
