Los Lobos playing Neil Young's 'Down By The River' @ Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA on 4/10/2022.
Edit: Conrad was absent because he was recovering from hip surgery. He is all good now and back at it. On this night the low end was handled by Vince Hidalgo, Dave's son.

Los Lobos, like The Mavericks , like the small clubs. They feed off of the crowds energy and it's far more intimate than any arena with thousands of people.

Ask a young kid....Who do you want to go see in concert?....Los Lobos or Taylor Swift?.....then you'll know why. I'd rather go see Los Lobos in a small club....Much more up front and personal.....imho

Awesome to enjoy such heroes of mine covering another hero's masterpiece. Dang- all 3 guitars soloing! Kudos to Vince Hidalgo on bass. Thanks for this, Jon.
