Why are non talented people being made ridiculously famous and these guys are not.. what is wrong with the music industry that these boys are simmering on the back burner in the world of sound.. I grew up with this kind of music and here it is.. this is talent.. this is gifted by God and you just can't teach that.. this is beautiful.. this is music
At least to me, saying it's "gifted by god" takes away from all the work these guys put in to get this good at what they do. God gives you the opportunity to become this talented, the rest is up to how many hours you're willing to spend getting there, and these guys clearly spent a lot of those on this.
While my guitar gently weeps. Love their sound solo much, coming from a Texican living far away from home. They don't get the mainstream attention and air time because they are far above today's mainstream music. God bless and keep safe. Nuff said
SOme of thee TIGHTEST guys since Santana . . . How 'bout that Henry!!!! and Reese just watchin Henry goin' - hes gotta be thinkin - comparing him with SRV . . . #PROS
I saw them play some years ago at KFOG Kaboom in San Francisco. It was SUCH a great show! I was standing right in front of the stage. That's when I fell in love with Henry lol. I even got to meet them and they signed a poster for me. Yaaay. Good times! 🥳
Tom Spallone... Those people exist in all generations. When I was young, and listening to Zappa, Zeppelin, Janis, Cream, Otis Redding,The Allman Brothers(they were SO fucking good, when Duane was akive), The Temptaions, (early)Chicago, and Pink Floyd... the radio stations were overrun, by The Monkees, The Archies, The Osmonds, Helen Reddy, and The Captain and Tenille. Great music has always existed... and still does. The music INDUSTRY however, has always done their best, to spoon feed garbage to the masses. More often than not... the musically retarded get all the attention, because they are easiest to please.
Joe Galvan apparently people do still make music like this, because this shit is happening. There are tons of great musicians out there, but you have to search. Gary Clark jr and Ben Harper are amazing. Deer Tick makes fantastic music, Maynard and Tool are still pumping out greats. We live in an amazing time where RU-vid exists and you can easily find this stuff. Unfortunately a lot of garbage comes with that.
The combination of blues rock and Latin elements is both familiar and refreshing the way they present it. Bad ass for sure. Glad I got to see them when I was 13 in suburban Illinois. A day out with the fam became an unforgettable moment in my life watching Henry play the guitar. Completely unexpected to hear their level of style and musicianship. Never forget it
Forever a fan! My 20 year old son became a fan when he was 4, and wanted me to change his name to Henry, and started playing guitar! Love you guys!!! Thanks for the music
Saw them perform this back in '05 in their hometown of San Angelo, Tx, For the Brotherhood tour. They got down, They played for about 3.5 hours. One of the greatest concerts ever! Loved when Henry played with his teeth.
You can almost always tell within a few measures of hearing a strat if it's a guy from Texas. Henry has that great strat sound, Texas swing, bluesy, Latin, almost flamenco sometimes, he sounds Texican, up with SRV, Carlos, Billy Gibbons, Winter bros. without leaning on them so much, but playing well enough to make his separate but equal place among great rock/blues/soul guitarists from Texas and Mexico. And his brothers are in same league, just this song was to show Henry's playing off most.
I first saw them on the Austin City Limits tv show shortly after their first album came out and I was in awe. I bought their album the very next day. I only saw them for the first time last night here in Fort Lauderdale and they were outstanding! They REALLY deserve a LOT more attention!
One of the best live bands I’ve ever seen and have been attending 1000’s of live shows since 1975! Very talented and don’t have to be rated because it means nothing in a world that consists of 90% dipshit’s! Denadda!
We saw these awesomely talented guys twice at Antone's in Beaumont, TX years back before they were well known. They were great!! And they still are great!!
Have to add a recent comment. This is such talent and those who understand music,, this is GREAT and I love it!!!! Saw Carlos in MI way back and did some Djing and wish I could have their talent then.
I have fallen in love with this band in the last 2 days I just heard them there so good the guitar player must have taken Carlos Santana's master class hum : )
I just saw them near Sacramento. Amazing!!!! Great sound; so soulful. Amazing musicianship. These guys need to be rediscovered by the masses. Loved, loved, loved "I Never Met a Woman" and "So Sensual."
I saw this tour in Monterey Calif. Best show to hit Monterey in decades. I'd go again in a heart beat. Anywhere. I wish they'd play the UK. In Scotland. That, would blow some minds.
Such a fan. Incredibly talented performers. I'm proud to say that LLB was my eldest son's first concert back in 2011 when they played Blues on the Green in Austin, Texas. Love these guys!
I was not a fan of Los Lonely Boys from the start. However I found out they were from Texas as myself. I then saw them performing on Austin City Limits and was blown away. I purchased their first CD and the first time I heard Onda it brought me to tears. Please continue to put yalls heart and soul into your music. God Bless!!!
I'm not sure if anyone else caught the "Blood In, Blood Out" references throughout the song? I havent seen them since Farm Aid 2005, but they still JAM!!
This group sounds a lot like Santana without being a copy cat; very nice! I only mention this because I don't think the group generally sounds like Santana when listened to before.
Wouldn't that make all three of them your Primo ? I didn't know, you could pick and choose cousins. I've always had to try to avoid the ones I didn't like. Ha, ha.
