Gus Fring actually sounds more professional than a lot of the mediocre corporate trainers. He emphasized communication, and this is why his businesses were successful.
I liked how, even though he’s the owner of a popular fast food chain, he still goes over to his customers and asks them if they’re happy with their food. He even stays late to wipe down the tables. Those are admirable
My favorite statement about Gus was this. "Gus Fring had two businesses, one is meant to prey upon low income people and causes an early death. The other is crystal meth."
well, aren't all the employees in on the fact that it's a massive drug manufacturing and trafficking operation? Since this would be only shown to employees.
@@frankdeleon9124 i was just under the impression many people generally look down upon fast food employees. the "mind of a child" comment justifies said impression.
Not really fake advice tho considering the show is written to be somewhat realistic. The look respectable part I have always said and done. When I got to a place and I see employees shining and dressed well it makes me believe the kitchen the work place is clean and professional. Meanwhile go to a place with dirty counters and saggy clothes (not that it’s always their fault the day and job makes you move) and just not well lit or clean environment. The employee talks to you with bore and annoyance it’s very diff than withholding standards.
If these were real, in-universe training videos, I can imagine the employees would find Gus' serious side as an amusing bit, only to realise, when the news breaks, that he was showing them glimpses of his real side.

It was just able to compartmentalize his feelings with actions. He actually liked and tried to help Walter White and be friendly to him. He seemed like he wanted to legitimize everything to take it away from the illegal side and cartel side and just real people doing business Just in drugs

Criminal business aside, what I've heard is that Gus truly did take his restaurant seriously, and respected his workers as well I can only hope he trained someone to be his next successor of the Los Pollos Management in the event of his abscence, since he seems like the type of guy to do that sort of thing
Thing about Gus is he never respected anyone only used them for his own gain Los pollos he never cared too much since it was just a front for his operations so he had to make it look good but in reality he never cared all too much his employees while he was glad they worked well he had no problem wiping out their family’s if they got too close to the real business At the end of the day The Gus who had sympathy and a caring side to him died at that meeting at eladios when Max was shot right in front of him now he never cares about anyone or anything only uses people for more gain
He's very particular about the way things are done. I had a friend who worked for him and he spent hours meticulously cleaning a fryer, but it failed to meet his standards for cleanliness.
What a nice guy. He really engages in CUTTHROAT competition. He's really professional and hates drugs. So polite. Really cares about his workers and wouldn't just dispose of them as he sees fit. I heard he even goes to visit some old cripple, maybe a friend. Man, what a nice guy, this Fring guy.
Honestly it actually felt like that to me, lol. Even though the chains are a front for money laundering, they are so well managed by him that they seem like his main focus while drugs just bring in more money.
@@krimsonk-9478 Yes, He was always seen working at the restaurant, probably a 9-5. He only stopped going to work whenever some stuff was going on in the drug business.
I'm hoping Vince and Peter do him next. How awesome would it be to learn about his past? It's made very obvious that he has connections and has done things in the past, it's almost as if they set it up to do a Gus show. I want to know why he's called the Chilean, and I want to know what happened at Santiago!
@@TheDaxynn1 probably he is based in Pinochet's son in law: Julio Ponce Lerou, who even look alike in the tan and similar voice tone. Still a current lord of lithium mines, although he sold half of the company to china a few years ago. It is a very dark character in Chile.
Me and my family went to Los Pollos Hermanos. The moment we stepped in we were greeted by Gus with a huge smile, he lead us to our table and took care of all of our needs. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly, their security is very professional they were wearing suits and never once I felt unsafe. I rate this place 5 out of 5 highly recommend
@lucette5 Gus is very picky about the quality of his products so im pretty sure if you file a complaint directly to him he will take care of you right away 😉
I used to work here as a cook. Once there was a gun fight outside, Gus walked out to stare down the gunman! Another time, I was messing up at work and the cashier told Gus that he wanted to replace me as the cook, Gus calmly got changed and slit his throat. He let us take home left over chips though so he wasnt all bad.
I worked there too. Some scary men came in and one kept smoking a cigar, despite me telling him to stop. He said he wanted to talk to Gus, despite me repeatedly telling him that Gus wasn't there. After hours of them waiting in the store, acting like they owned the place, Gus finally showed. He told us employees everything would be fine and let us go home with a full paid day. Everything did turn out fine!

After I had finished cleaning, I asked those two mexican guys if they could give me a lift into town, BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! -The radio was broken so they kept playing the licence plate game, and they sucked at it! They were doing it in Spanish AND English. I told them thats cheating. I should have just caught a bus.
Mr Fring is such an incredible man. As a long time and regular customer, I felt it appropriate to thank him with a lovely bottle of Zafiro Anejo during a recent visit for his and his teams professionalism. He is such a humble man that he told me that whilst he appreciated the gift, he would like to give the Zafiro Anejo to his colleagues in Mexico who would be equally appreciative. What a guy Gus is!
Ok the fact that he’s a drug lord aside, this is actually great irl advice, and Gus seems like a nice employer (depending on which business you get employed into)

Gus is the kind of guy who actually would film this himself because he cares about literally everything he does - even if it's just a laundering operation.

Giancarlo esposito is such a great actor 😂 Gus seems so happy and cheery in things like this, but then in breaking bad and better call Saul he’s one of the most erie villains in TV history and he straight up murders one of his henchmen with a box cutter 😬😂
