This a custom part to strengthen the upper roof tube chassis to minimize flex of the overall chassis. Adding the mid front & mid rear tube frames together with this trident style stainless tube chassis design secured by longer stainless steel hardware achieves rollover protection for the Rig. Not only does it significantly reduces flex of the chassis, it adds additional support without adding too much weight on the top. The entire kit only weighs just 1.3oz - Stock screws removed weighs 0.3oz so net weight gain is only 1oz.
The kit utilizes the existing front and rear light bar housing mount on 5 out of 6 mounting locations. The center rear mount will require a small 2.5mm drill hole on the tube chassis to secure the center brace tube with the supplied countersink washer and Fastener.
The installation will require removal of the light bar covers, and the Light Bar PCB. Carefully pull out the electrical pcb by fishing the wiring slightly and rotating it to clear room to access the screws.
I added M3 Socket type screw heads that will require larger 2.5mm hex to drive them. Having 2.5mm socket instead of 2mm along with 25-35mm screws will avoid stripping these screw heads when driving through plastic and metal allowing more torque tolerance when wrenching.

1. 2 x 170mm Custom Symmetrical bent tubes + 1 x 170mm Straight tube. Both ends have M3 threads (8mm deep) crimped for the fasteners.
2. Front 3 x M3x35mm 2.5mm Stainless Socket Hex Screw.
3. Rear 2 x M3x25mm 2.5mm Stainless Socket Hex Screw.
3. Rear 1 x M3x14mm 2.5mm Stainless Socket Hex Screw.
4. Rear 1 x M3 Countersink Red Aluminum Washer.
5. Heat shrink black 6 x 15mm. Shrink after installation is complete. Heat shrink tubing has glue which will melt over tube after heating. Do not overheat. Cut off excess glue that oozes out if needed. Glue dries clear so let it naturally cure once heat is removed.
Clean parts with isopropyl alcohol (included) after install and enjoy beefier roof with added stiffness. If you already have the Samified RC Rear Chassis Brace, this Trident Roof Brace will further improve chassis flex.
