There is a way to remove the body and cage assembly as a unit by undoing just twelve screws (there are videos on RU-vid explaining how to do that). This gets you complete access to the chassis to perform upgrades or maintenance. I used that method when I recently upgraded the rear suspension on my Baja Rey, and it saves a lot of time and effort.

I bought my BR about a year ago and quickly learned the body AND the cage can be removed at the same time by removing half the screws.

Where did he get the spare tire setup? Id really like that setup on my baja rey. Cant find it anywhere, all i can find are the flat dual spares.

That is awesome that you guys have a go to for aluminum parts. Knowledge of that quality is what makes the expense worth it.

Definitely can’t go wrong with reefs servos and vitavon. I also really like treal hobby products, vitavon and treal make great 7075 aluminum products. Beautiful truck man Neil kills it every time he builds a rig my favorite is his LCG belly dragger Toyota truck.

Love my Baja Rey. For my non-electronic aftermarket parts, it's almost entirely a combination of Vitavon & 949 Design. Arthur (Vitavon) does AMAZING work. I've got Vitavon on several vehicles...Baja Rey, X-MAXX, Ryft, just to name a few.

Man now I think it’s my transmission. Going to call support once I see what wrong. I bought this over the UDR and now I can get my boy one for same as 1 UDR.

I bought one. Love it so far. Rear drive has a problem out of the box. I can stop the rear driveshaft with my fingers upside down. I guess it’s the output shaft but not far enough into it to see. I realized there was little to no drive after nosedive and front roll 3X but I feel it will be RAD on 3s with my problem fixed. It was surprisingly fast on our modest short course which has patchy grass and super tacky saturated dirt. We do have a nice 180* 4’ bank curve though!

Drive on plowed ground stock and it seems right at home. Front stays down and works way better than jumps like a real desert truck.. but I changed mine too lmbo

I really like the 1/10 Baja Rey, but sole reason I'm not sold to get one is because Losi has a pattern to discontinue their models and parts will be difficult to access.

Love Vitavon and aluminum everything but stop at arms. Seen way too many bent chassis cause of them.

Where did you get the file for the roof protectors??

What's the rear shock set-up on that?

Vitavon is so overhyped and overpriced it isn't funny.

Could one lock the center differential in these using the same lockers you would for the front or rear diff? Asking becaise im getting a hammer rey here soon and want locked cemter and rear diffs maybe lock the front
