Hello. Thanks for the video. My question is, if I worked with a blue card for more than 2 years (but not yet 33 months for permanent residency) and lose my job, can I still stay 3 months only? (In another source, I read that it is 6 months.) thanks

Hello, as per my information it’s 3 months. However, I would recommend to get in contact with local foreign authorities

Take a follow up with Ausländerbehöde. You can also go to unemployment office with blue card

Hi Sir- Many thanks for this valuable info. Need your guidance on the below: Can I ask you what can we do if we lose a job on Resident Permit? Also, can we stay in Germany for atleast 3 months after losing job (on Resident Permit but not Blue Card)? Thanks a lot.

Along with blue card you get additional 3 months. If you lose job with resident permit your visa ends with end of employment contract. However, please consult with Agentur für Arbeit.

@Glove Pravasi Hi i want know if Losing job in Blue card . After that can i move any fulltime Job that pay less than new Blue card enable salary within this three month?
@GlobePravasi
@GlobePravasi 2 месяца назад
The new job must meet the conditions of the Blue Card, including the minimum salary requirement. If you find a new full-time job within the grace period, but it pays less than the minimum salary required for the Blue Card, it could potentially affect your residency status. However, there may be some flexibility depending on your specific circumstances and the discretion of immigration authorities. It's crucial to consult with immigration authorities or legal experts familiar with German immigration law to understand your options and any potential consequences of accepting a job that pays less than the Blue Card minimum salary. They can provide you with personalized advice based on your situation.

If your first year as a blue card holder you can stay up to 3 months... and if it's the 2nd or the 3rd year? :)

Blue card is based on your work contract. If you change your job, in the 1st two years, then you need to inform Arbeitsamt.

Hi..Do I need to inform Auslanderbehorde in the event that my termination is in the next 5 months? I need as much time as possible to find a job. My employer has given me a 5-month termination period after a lot of negotiation. Or I can just inform Auslanderbehorde when 3 months are remaining before my termination? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Should be possible
@puellanivis
@puellanivis 8 месяцев назад
Yes, this is (or should be) relatively easy, unless the EU Blue Card is for a longer remaining duration than the new contract is for. This _can_ actually be converted without need to reissue a new EU Blue Card visa, but the bureaucrats might initially turn you away, and demand that you reapply entirely new. If your new company provides a service to deal with and process your immigration status, then they can usually take care of this. (source: this happened to me)

Is Step 3 mandatory? Why would I need to get a Job searcher visa if they already gave me 3-6 months of a chance to find a new job after firing?
@GlobePravasi

Yes. As your blue card is based on your work contract and if you are fired you need to inform job center.

Hi sir, I am a Master student in Germany and I still have Master thesis and 1 subject remaining. I have Blue card right now, so if I lose my job right now, can I change my Visa back to Student Visa?

Once you are a blue card holder and a full-time employee, I doubt you can get back the student visa again. However, please check with local authorities.

Hi, blue card salary criteria is individual. If either one of them (husband or wife) fulfills the salary requirements he/she should get a blue card. Combined income is not considered

Hello sir, I moved to Germany November 2023 under Blue Card visa and once my initial entry visa got expired, I received fiktionsbescheinigung with a validity period of 2 years(due to huge backlog of Nürnberg). Since I am not satisfied with my current employer, I am now applying for several jobs. If I receive a job contract within Blue Card required criteria, is it possible to change the job before completion of 1 year with my current employer? How can I inform this to Auslanderbehorde and get approval?
@GlobePravasi
@GlobePravasi 2 месяца назад
Hi, get a job offer first. Then, schedule an appointment or visit the Ausländerbehörde in person to inform them of your intention to job change (don't name employer). take along all the required documents related to your new job offer. They can guide you.
