Losing Your Guardian Angel

I had given someone my car for free as I was moving (military). I dropped the car off at his house and asked him to take me back to my hotel because I had a flight to my new base in 12 hours. He wanted to test drive the car on the 10 minute drive to the hotel and I said sure. He starts driving and I know something is off. It doesn't feel real how he is driving; like a preset roller coaster path. I told him to slow down immediately and he told me he wasn't even going that fast. 2 minutes later he lost control going 60 in a 30 and the car rolled twice. We landed upside down. When I realized we were losing control I felt no fear at all. I knew I was dying but felt at peace. When I came to. I was completely fine, aside from being upside down. I crawled out and pulled out the guy who was also completely fine. I said "Hope you enjoyed the car!" and got a taxi. My 1st SGT called me later and asked if I was okay. I was like yeah why? He said he's been to 4 similar incidents and it always ended in a flag being sent home to someone's family. He just could not believe we were alive; let alone completely unharmed. There is that situation and many other military related situations, where I KNOW I should be dead. And I'm not. I am beyond thankful for those experiences as they have strengthened my faith in God to another level. I had been deeply struggling spiritually at the time and I do really think there were evil powers at play to cause me great harm. I was a baby Christian at the time, had bought me a nice black cross necklace. Wore it under my uniform every day (even though it was deemed a work "hazard"). I had it on at the time of the crash. I keep it on my door in my house now.

I won't apologize for an official medical consensus. :-) And I never said "go and get vaccinated," I told people it is their own decision based on the conversation they have with their own doctor.

@@BanterWithBojan I seem to remember a video where you read the question "Should I get vaccinated?" or something like that, followed by a long silence to symbolise that it was obvious one should get vaccinated. Maybe you or someone else has a better memory than I have and knows which video I am referring to. Anyway, as an orthodox christian from Serbian and Macedonian decent, living in a western country, I like your content very much. But I regret how our patriarch strongly advised us to get vaccinated, out of love for others. Not only were we, non-vaccinated, mocked by mainstream media and despised by politicians, we were also indirectly accused by the church of not being loving towards other people. Luckily our priest and most of the people in our church community didn't get vaccinated. But we won't keep our breath for an apology from the patriarch.

That is a video on vaccinating children, and it was way long before covid vaccins (or even covid itself) were thing. :-) And yes, that mockery is a horrid thing and while being a vaxxer myself, and such kind of mockery is a sad state of affairs. I do not think that the patriarch was necessarily binary about it (ie. if you don't get vaccinated you hate others).

@Cory B Im not really saying Angels play no part in Christian life. I'm just pointing out the fallibility in belief that God gave His only Son so man could be saved, but can't spare 1 Angel to help a non believer. Or the ridiculousness that there's too many people for everyone to have an Angel.
