Nothing against Suraj as discussion leader but I really like how he stepped back and let Nikki and Rana lead their own discussion/reaction after the episode. I really like it when two people who haven't seen the show talk about it. Thumbs up!
It's really really hard to talk about this season when you already know the ending, especially after this episode really starts to kick it into high gear with the sideways. It's much easier to say nothing than to try saying something without spoiling.
Not to be dramatic or anything, but I've been impatiently waiting to see your reactions to the final seven episodes of LOST since you guys uploaded the pilot :') I'm so happy and excited!
Haha - this one had it all! From Nikki we got not only her trademark "Hu-LLO??" and "Me!" but also "I LOVE LOVE!!" What more do we need? What a great episode!
I always felt like this episode in particular was the beginning of the end for the show because it set forth in motion the final event(The Concert) in the flash sideways before...well...you know (Spoilers)
This Friday marks the 2 year Lost reactions debut of the Normies, for us RU-vid viewers! Kudos Suraj! Another plea for your generosity, to grant us too, the full season 6 finale reaction.
We know Eliose knew things about the future, from the back flashes, I believe Widmore did as well and that is why he pushed Desmond and belittled him. He knew that Desmond needed to go to the Island and that was the only way to get Des to go.
It pleases me so much that Rana and Nikki notice all the small but important details when so many people don't! It's always a treat to watch those two (3) react. I'm gonna miss that! Hope they'll react to the lost bloopers and the extra episode "the new man in charge".
In order to really understand Eloise's "specialness" one should look things from her point of view. Since the moment she killed her son, she could read his journal, in which he very plausibly wrote everything he knew about Desmond, his constant. She starts to believe that the universe should not be tampered with and does what she can to prevent any alteration from the course things are supposed to take. That is why she pushed Daniel to leave music behind and to commit to physics, that is why she knew what Desmond was supposed to do when he decided to buy the ring during his reliving of his breakup with Penny, that is probably why she got somehow associated with Brother Campbell in order to make sure he was on his right path. And that is why from the moment her son left for the Island she could know what was going to happen just until Daniel died, and why she told Penny she didn't know what was going to happen anymore. As for her omniscience in the flashsideways.. Well, you'll see
"i think i already did." THE CHILLS I GOT THE FIRST TIME I SAW THAT OMG. also i love all of suraj's little looks into the camera yeah we can't wait till the girls see everything either.
Yeah but the Sayid being on the dark side turns out to be bullshit. He's still the same dude and has the most heroic moment of the series after supposedly being claimed by the darkness.
@@iheartTSDW Much like everything in this show, it is not explained, but I think that is because his humanity is coming back because he is not around Flocke as much.
@@iheartTSDW I didn't liked that storyline as everyone else BUT was it bullshit? He basically lost his soul, emotionless husk of his former self, a sociopath is you prefer. "The sickness" was real for sure (Danielle crew confirmed that). He turned into the "dark side" but just like in StarWars - Vader had a little bit of humanity left in him even tho his soul, his humanity was mostly gone at that point. Just because something made you an emotionless husk doesn't essentially mean you can't do something good. He still remembered his old self and seeing Jack and his old friends reminded him what the "old Said" would do at that point. And being emotionless and having no will to live only made that decision easier.
So This is my first time watching Lost, and i watch an episode, then i watch their reaction. If i have to be honest, this was my SECOND most favorite episode of all time in this series.....Hoooooooly Shit my mind just exploded. What great writing....
I've been watching this show along with you guys for a year. I fricking love it. I'm sad I'm almost done. But I can't wait to see how all this is gonna end.
I have yet to watch it, but before doing this, I want to say; this is by far favorite episode of this season - this and episode 16. Desmond's episodes are always the best EDIT: After this episode and up until the finale I thought exactly like Nikki; all the characters in the Flashsideways will remember and go back to the island, as Fake Locke manages to actually kill all candidates. Then something else happened, but that was my thought process at first and it made me so excited about them
I loved every moment of Nikki and Ranns debating the episode after the episode finished. You already have me for whatever show nicki reacts to next I just hope its person of interest so let us know asap please I love you guys. Lost and The expanse got ke subscribed to you guys.
I always think of this as Season 7....from here on out every episode is off the charts amazing....I've been convinced since the 2nd rewatch that Season 6-7 is the best Season.
14:45 - Daniel: "So I took it to a friend of mine at CalTech. He's a math whiz." Plot twist: Daniel's friend is Sheldon Cooper. Flight 815 crashed on the island (or landed at LAX in the flash sideways) in 2004. The first season of Big Bang Theory was 2008, when Sheldon would have already been at CalTech for several years. It fits. (Side note: Anybody see this week's new episode of Young Sheldon? Sheldon visits CalTech for the first time.)
Julia Svyrydova Although I am not a fan of about 2-3 unnecessarily overly violent episodes, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved the final episode though it was more an epilogue. Loved the entire cast. I’m currently writing a sci-fi story told like LOST and fell in love with the first few episodes of season 2 of the leftovers as that is my vision for piecing all the character driven stories together. Each episode is the character’s perspective through their eyes of the same familiar events. Music throughout the series was phenomenal! I only wish they had kept the ominous theme music from series 1 but understand from a story telling aspect why it needed to change. I was forever changed by my own real life near death experience at age 13 after having head trauma during a mugging. A lot of imagery in the show hit home for me. So, in the overall story I am writing, is my personal life told through a science fiction lens. As far fetched as some elements may seem, the reader should be asking questions when they learn new data. Did this really happen or could happen? So for the Leftovers I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars. But my love for LOST remains a 5.
they are testing desmond in this episode to know that he wont die when he will go and shut down the heart of the islands light in the last episode. ( I MUST SPOIL!!)
Fisher Stevens; most famous for problematically playing an Indian, with full brown face and stereotype East Indian accent, in the Short Circuit movies. Also the awesome 90s show early edition. And. Most recently, a producer for Tiger King.
Rana:"Because hes just the evil in the world and hes gonna go destroy all of life." Nikki: "but like why though, what's the point?!" It's like that dark knight story about the jewel theives and murderers that threw the jewels away. "Some 'men' just wanna watch the world burn."
Weird tangent but this episode is why I had faith in the importance of the flash-forwards in this show called Arrow. If there's multiple timelines being shown at the same time, there's no way they don't somehow converge.
Very funny/ironic that Nikki, the woman of science, is now adopting Locke's faith argument - We have to go back! - just like Jack did, ha ha ha. Great reactions, thanks for all you time and work.
I think Nikki should re-watch the entire series as a host and try not to spoil it for new Losties. Then she’ll see how hard it was for Suraj not to say anything the whole show. You can’t tell me there aren’t some other Normies that haven’t seen the whole show that wouldn’t be down for Nikki as a host. Dude! Do it!
Nicki and Rana have been our constants for so long. Here's hoping that the Machine picks their numbers to come up so we could watch them for a while as our Persons of Interest.
Wouldn't it make more sense for a claustrophobic button-pushing magnetic hatch in nowhereland to be a metaphor for an MRI than visa-versa? Which seems more like a dream? I'm not saying that's the case in the show, or isn't, just noting that 100% of observers would pick the sideways as the real story unless they had seen everything in the order we saw them in the show
Yeah i love love everyone of these videos makes me feel happily ever after especially with rana on these. Thank you suraj thank god for rana Nikki so funny i thought rana was about to figure it out cant wait there's no going back what happened happened
