Like others have said get +10 done now even on alts, do not wait! Trans takes forever to do if you are doing it all at once to get 100 petals unlocked so the sooner you do it, the better. Just do 1 character at a time until T4, I am currently on my 3rd one. Will also help to not get gatekept or having to play with fresh progs for HM raids come Sept. which could be super jail.
For any alt you plan on pushing t4, try to atleast reach 1630 through adv.honing and do thaemine 1-2 HM MINIMUM to push your trans to 15 flowers. Any 1620 alt that will instantly jump to 1640 will have a hard time doing anything and especially behemoth. We also know the cost of adv honing for t4 and it's basically the same as tier 3 but you don't have any stock of mats and it will takes months if not atleast a year for t4 mats to be at the same price as tier 3 mats. So push this system as far as you can. If you are a casual, plan a maximum of 2 characters tier 4 and maximise trans + adv.honing on them before going further. If you are a tryharder, strategically push your whole adv honing on your character as you don't want to do adv honing in t4. Do that strategically by doing one piece at a time so that you can transfer this piece right after. You will definitely be a bit behind at the start, but once traditional honing in tier 4 reaches the same point that tier 3 (+19~) you will be way way way in advance than anyone that did not pushed adv honing.
yep great comment and a lot of people here share the same opinion. I definitely agree that if you have the bound mats and gold, you should set yourself ahead of the other alts who are just going to push from 1620.
There are so many ways to be gatekeeped at this game. Even if i done everything, and somehow i got 1660 in octobor. Its really hard for me to find a lobby to prog the new raid with. When everyone expect dps will have full lv 8 gems (t4 gems), which i cant afford or highest ilv. The easiest way to not be gatekeep is play with a team/friends, rmt or play sp ( i dont have static time either) I plan to advance honning for my sp to dodge the gatekeep but damn, I dont have enough bound mats, not to mention i need gold also. 😂 At this point, t4 release too early really stressing me out.
oh no! don't be stressed! You need to always keep in mind that while you may not be keeping up with many of the swipers and such, there will always be people at your progress level so no need to worry. I also just going to chill with my characters until tier 4 saving up bound mats and ready to ride out at my own pace. :D
From what I am hearing the dps check for Aegir is lower than Echidna normal when only taking into consideration the item level increase (40 item levels). That means we should be seeing very easy dps checks relative to what we are seeing now for normal mode. As he explained in the video, higher item level, higher character level (up to 70), new gems, more tripods, and ability to get weapon transcendence via Behemoth should really make Aegir far easier than Echidna/Theamine/Voldis HM on release have been for us.
2x 1630 bard here. Its not just you. I stopped trying for thaemine hm and echidna hm because of gatekeeping too. Everyone only wants trans 7, but there are no prog lobbies or the ones that exist dont fill up. Buying a bus to then sink more gold into the shitty minigames to then suffer in hard mode didnt sound fun so I stopped pushing and am chilling in NM. I now realize this game is only for swipers/rmters/alt roster grinders/bussers/nolifers.
Hey how do you have such clean and short text on the description of your gear. I have to alt and scroll to see all mine. It shows all elixir and set bonuses stzts etc...awefull. Its an option in settings maybe? Thanks

I only have 2 characters at 1620 I dont think I have enough time to get the gold or the matts to advance hone one of them to 1630, havent even cleared echidna yet xd
i agree with comment below, you have a good start of 1620s and if you dont have gold or mats, DONT DO ANY HONING. Keep saving up bound mats and get ready for tier 4 with the other advices in the video!
I’m guessing those xp potions they gave out during events will work towards level 70. You know the ones that were greyed out for characters already 60 and not destroyable
Depends on people's needs, but I always value shards over leapstones in the beginnings of resets. Use leapstone una if you wish as long as you doing those unas daily for the small combat xp boost
great video! I have a question, do you know if something happening to the bracelets? As far as I know in T4 we'll have to replace our accessories after transitioning to the ark passive thing, but I don't know if that includes the bracelets too
I think is the play is hone your alts to 1630 from 1620 with advanced honing off of bounds. Transcendence will be key for behemoth. Unless they nerf transcedence unlocks alts with no trans will get gatekept. worst case you just do thaemine hm echnida hm and voldis at 1640 and do behemoth later after u get trans. Then you can skip advanced honing but it will be cheaper to adv hone in t3 than t4 for a while The main reason people are pushing alts is 1660 for aegir to unlock t4 system but that can always come later if need be there is definitely a hold play for alts if u want. Aegir in october is a problem cause alt honing to 1660 is pretty unrealistic for 90 percent of the player base. Maybe 1-3 characters is possible if u don't go 1680 on main.
Hey man, thanks for the comment! I 100% agree with you that if you have the funds and bound materials on alts, push push push! I try to view things in a hardcore and also casual player sense. My advice is definitely not a one size fits all.

If you don't advance hone your 1620 alts you will be a dozen a dime when T4 comes out. They will be gatekept super hard from most Behemoth groups (on ilvl plus no 100+ transcendence) and hard theamine too. Yes, they can farm T4 materials by doing the new 1640 guardian via 4 dps MM because of gatekeeping in PF and CD, but that's about it. You will be basically doing the same raids you are doing on them now - nm theamine, nm echidna, hm voldis, none of which would give you T4 materials. If you are okay with that, then it's perfectly fine, no questions asked, and I honestly think that's what most people should do but keep your expectations low as far as doing Behemoth and HM Echidna/Theamine in concerned. If you want to do the aforementioned content, you MUST advance hone to +10 now AND also finish 20 flowers on at least some pieces to stand out assuming your friends can carry your alts in hm theamine to unlock it. If that's a lot of gold for you then prepare for some really bad experience in T4. That's what has been happening in KR now and I don't see it being any different in NA/EU. Watch Agam's video on that for more details. And before some would say that there will be many characters just like your alts so you don't need to do those things, I have to give them a small reality check that there will be a massive support shortage with the overflow of fresh 1640 dps with low lvl gems and no transcendence, and guess which lobbies the fresh 1640 supports would join - definitely not those that your 1640 alts are in that's for sure. All that I said is irrelevant if you have multiple statics though as I am purely talking about the issues that one would face while pugging on their alts.
I would recommend doing t4 honing on those alts for 1630 first -> do hard thaemine to unlock level 7 transcendence. I do agree with most of your points though, it won't be easy, but it's not impossible. I am a PUG player, so I understand the support struggle. However, I'm still surviving heh
Saving cube tickets were not recommended by kr. They are worth more with the advanced honing and everything now and you will have more important things to do than running 100 cubes. This could change if they add back x3 or something.
I'm not sure what advanced honing has to do with cubing, but the whole reason for cubes is to increase your combat level as soon as possible. Korea should agree with this as many have not reached the level 70 mark yet (but will soon thanks to running chaos dungeons and cubes!)
@@NoEditAndy leapstones and juice mats. And honestly unless you have a really big amount of free time, doing 100 more cubes per char is honestly alienating. Just to have extra combat exp yeah no honestly that's crazy.
@@TheDwarum Depends on each person's cost benefit analysis. The advice is primarily there for those who want to push combat level as soon as possible. You can also take your time to do those 100 cubes if you don't value the exp that highly. 1 or 2 a day is fine. If not, that's okay too.
Not sure what this 50% discount is never heard of it from AGS statements. If you mean the honing rates will be nerfed, that is true but in the distant future. This video is mainly for getting ready within this next month to go into t4 when it releases.
you didn't include your item level so in a general sense, just try to reach 1620 whenever you can. Since you dont have much gold income, all your gold is to your main. Dont FOMO and catch up. It's a slow process. I am going to make another video talking about this stuff too

unfortunately no you cannot. There is a new diffferent type of juice in tier 4. That is why I am going to hone my main's weapon to 22 using full juice before transitioning to tier 4!
great question! Since t3 honor shards are useless, we need to ask ourselves if there are any avenues to use it before its gone. If you have no gold to spare then DON'T level your weapon to +22. If you do have gold, +22 weapon is still cost effective and will save you t4 honor shards to upgrade your t4 weapon. Anything above +22 weapon becomes ridiculously expensive so I cut off at +22.
@@NoEditAndyWith the cost of honing your weapon from 20 to 22 you could do first 10 adv honing completely on an alt and then start working on its transcendance which will be inspected when trying to join a Behemoth lobby. Instead of using all that gold for 3% dmg on your main. You could set up an alt for the future. If you have extra gold go for it I guess but even then I'd rather get one more alt trans ready.
@@Toncarton4 I recommend investing in main more as it's very clear that alts were a massive trap and smilegate intended on the average player having one main. Based on current alt status, I see so many of them running around with the free bound level 7 gems still able to be accepted because having level 9+ gems on an alt is a rare find from my applicants. I'm already being gatekept on my main in echidna hard prog for not having a +25 weapon xd. No way am I going to continue getting accepted in later raids with a +20 weapon. Need to upgrade.
Is too broad of a question.. Depends on the class (some clases get like %10 dmg increase while others just %4~6) depends on how much gold you have, depends on your item lvl, do you pug or play with friends?, are you planning to bring that character to t4? etc.. I'd say if you are 1600+, have a lot of pheons, dont want to be gatekeept and all the accesories cost arround 50k gold is probably worth it.. besides you're not going to switch to ark passive immediately.
i agree with antisatanx (nice name xd) said. Every person and every class is different. For example, my deathblade is still on 5x3 while all my other chars are 5x3 + 1. It really depends on your specific situation
Can't even push alts to 1580 cus of excessive gatekeeping. You can't stay in game for too long cus u have life only to find out you can't even join normal Brel and Kaya parties cus everyone gatekeep under set lv3 and 7 gems, los30, klc18 so you have no choice but to do solo content which gives so fucking low golds. This game is hell compared to how I use to play on Argos days.
Yknow AG screwing NA players by releasing t4 too fast making your shard useless is the worst thing about this company. Should have given at least a 5 : 1 conversion zz T2-3 only has like what, less than a month gap, but t3-t4 has been lasting for years, so ofc they cant reuse the old method of t1->2 -> 3 cuz the duration and length is totally different. In t1/2 do you have like 5 mil excess shards before they let you hone t3? NO. LA rly deserved to be unpopular in NA cuz these KR company nvr learn anything from the west when it comes to accessibility and not wasting people's time.
You are contradicting your own argument. You want SG yo delay t4 because you have to many shards.. making it so when t4 comes out you'll have even more shards than you have now.. ??. I agree that a way to convert them would be nice, but doomposing about extra shards is kinda dumb.
hahahahahah, wtf are you talking about? i'm lvl 54 and I can't get any higher than that, and my item lvl is 1440 or lower I think. Spent all my gold and my resources trying to hone. dude this game is dead for new players.
This video is more catered towards seasoned players who are getting ready to transition to the next tier. I have no way of moving forward. trying to do arkesia tour and it's a nightmare, the stuff need to make repore is just unrealistic, I will just stick to doing una's tasks and wait for the game to give me another pass to higher tier of gear and maybe when I get the new gear I will be able to do content with other people.
