The choice about the death of the child was not made by the director, but by the leader of Dark Animation Studios, which said that it would make sense, to kill her off, if she don't have any purpose in the future haha It was also cute and at the same time impressive, that we could make you emotional attached to the character about her death, made us really happy! Something tells me that that probably isn't a missile launcher XD If you've watched Dragons: Race to the Edge( a Netflix How to Train Your Dragon show) it kinda reminded me of the Dragon Eye I also somehow knew that she would stab herself. Don't know why I felt like that though.

Pretty anticlimactic ending as you'd expect there to be a final big fight but i like it as it's not just the stereotypical: antagonist gets the upper hand and is winning until protagonist is able to overpower them and get the upper hand and kill/destroy/whatever them and win like seen in so many of these although the series was kinda short and if it was longer, things could of definitely been expanded more such as how did luna get the curse, why were those people gonna kill the child, who were the antagonists ans what did they want, who was that entity in lunas head and what did it want and in regards to specifically to this episode why did they shoot the child as it seemed she was going to comply with them as well as the relationship between luna and the child could of beem fleshed out more to give that ending even more emotional impact
