Another excellent video. I liked the long shots from South Greenford and Hanwell. Used the Greenford branch a few times, my (now sadly departed) ex lived in West Ealing and then Northolt, near the three peaks in the park. Miserable little packed 2-car 165 from Paddington. Never got off any of the intermediate stations, some good vantage points. South Greenford was interesting. You can hear the A40 traffic in the background, and in the distance the Central Line trains to and from West Ruislip. Like the way the track rises and falls either side of the A40 bridge. It's a shame Calvert rail head has closed. I'm assuming it reached capacity, or is it due to East-West line to Bletchley requiring the route? Even so, just like a quarry gets exhausted, a landfill site does eventually reach capacity. I was surprised when I worked on a new build/upgrade road job between Bedford and the M1 near MK, part of it was alongside the old Stewartby site. I was surprised at what had once been an old brickworks and a large hole in the ground, and once a rail fed site, had become a landfill hill of some size. Nice to see the 56, only ever saw it once myself on the Lynch spoil train passing through West Ruislip.
