I remember being this student in my school and you never forget the ppl who reached out to you.

Thank you for making this film! I truly can relate to Ka Nyaw, because i've been through the same thing as a refugee from Burma. This film means a lot to us, the Karen people. God Bless You!!

I can relate to Chlo "Ka Nyaw." As a little kid, I lived in Merced, California, which was surrounded by my ethnic group and thus I felt at home whenever I went to school. However, when my parents were laid off of work, we moved to North Carolina and I was forced to go to a school where I was the minority. I never felt so afraid, so weak, so alone. I was bullied, like Chlo, in the gym, cafeteria, class, and even on the bus. I was so afraid of what people would think of me, as if being bullied wasn't enough to lower my self-esteem. I didn't know anyone, I would find a place just so that I could cry, because no one knew how I felt and no one understood me, even the teachers did not lend a helping hand. Til this day, I still think back on those days and wished that I had a "Jeremy Lin." Now that I'm older and wiser, I learned how to eventually get back up and stand for myself. I now work as a counselor to help out those kids in need.

I'm from Myanamr. I can relate to the student from the film. It's nice to see there are people reaching out to him. I'm glad he seems to be doing well.

Okay, when I was 13 to 15 years old, I was bullied quite often by my classmates. I'm almost too embarrassed to say why because until this day, I still hide it. I know I shouldn't hide it and just accept myself but getting bullied hurts really bad. However, before I'm graduated, I started to open my mind and feel like I alive again. It's because my teacher. She teaches me how to through the tough time but also accompany me when I felt uncomfortable. Then, I've changed. Thanks my teacher again and I'm really happy to make a lot of friends now. She is my mentor also my "shero". Thanks Jubilee Project to made this inspiring film and really make my cry... just keep it. God love and bless you guys :) #ActsofLove #愛的行動

Wow this is really something that made me lost for words....you guys are truly inspiring! I really felt like I can relate to this story because I am also from Burma and went through the whole process of being lost, afraid, and lonely without knowing the language at all. Your guys' videos always put me to tears ❤️. It's sad that so many people are bullied and look down upon, but it is a blessing that there are those out there who work so hard to stop that and open many other people's eyes to so many great things and show them that life isn't about you and yourself all the time but about others in your life and even if they aren't it is absolutely ok to lend a helping hand, and those people are you guys. So glad that there are still kind people out there. It doesn't take a lot of effort to lend a helping hand. You don't have to be rich to lend a helping hand, and most importantly, you don't have to be popular to lend a helping hand, ANYONE can lend a helping hand and make a difference.

This was awesome... A lot of Burmese people like my parents came from a refuge camp and this means a lot to us.

When we moved to the UK, I was so scared. I was so worried about my children. Thank GOD help us to go through the hard time. Thank you for making this film. I have seen the film so many times. Blessings. My children have beautiful and sexy accents. Ha ha

Thank you very much for all your great work. You are spreading kindness and love to anyone who wants to be part of a group. Thank you for spreading the word...and also the message of investing time with someone, it can make a huge difference.

So this video hit home for me because the emphasis is being an outsider not fitting in with their surroundings due to boundaries... such as bullying, linguists defer, or the lack of inclusive. Although the base is "Being the Good Shepard," the ideal of building better communication is by understanding what the other Human being is trying to say when words get in the way... To me, I got the emotional aspect of how to mirror the type of respect and reflection of how to apply that Human to Human contact that is helpful for those needing to readjust into a society that lacks observational skills. Love is an expression of what is and not was.. which this video shows how to understand the baseline of that Love itself, called Patience of Job.
