I know exactly how John felt when his DNA matches were first revealed! I went from Zero, not having known of anyone, to 40,000+. It’s a reaction that is indescribable💕 I was also thinking about the many, many stories I have heard and the one that always stands out is the heart wrenching story of Paul Fronczak.

John's story is so very genuinely moving. He seems to be a very solid, grounded, squared away individual yet he openly can share his emotions and you can feel his vulnerability. One might not guess how much he and other adoptees go through, nor can we really imagine it having not lived in their skin. A shout out in agreement with his praise for Gabor Mate. He's very deep and has incredible wisdom about how people are affected as adults by things going all the way back to the womb. I highly recommend listening to as many of his talks as you can absorb. I haven't read any of his books but I'm sure they're awesome.

Thank for sharing your story, John. My mother was abandoned by her father at age 2 1/2, then she and her younger brother were taken out of her mother's home - CPS - at ages 4 & 2. They were adopted, but I could always see the pain in her life from that abandonment. Thank you for sharing your story & resources. Thank you, DNAngels!
