It's interesting to see the RU-vid experts criticize the cop here. In reality, she showed up in 15 minutes for a lost dog. A big Malinois jumped at her face the moment she arrived. She knew the area well enough to find the owner of the dog without any tags or scans in less than an hour. I don't see how she could have done this call any better.
@Indy_rawr

Yeh that was a very reasonable thing to say by her, if a dog has a tendency to jump at people they really should not be off leash in public, that’s just a recipe for disaster

Buddy you could post a video of a cop bringing back a man's wallet he lost to his house along with some extra money from the fellas at the precinct to help the man through the holidays and RU-vid people will comment on how the police shouldn't be wasting tax dollars doing that while "people are being murdered".

Yes because the dog was off leash the right thing to do was to have the dog sit while the office approach. Not allow him to go to her no matter how nice he was. So yes she need to let her know bad manners. No leash have control of your dog.

I think you just solved so many problems for me. I'm a first time (GSD) dog owner and my dog does a lot of that insistent sniffing and I was thinking the only reason he was getting other dogs at the park wanting to bite him was that he was in tact... I had no idea that sniffing was a prelude to humping & a way to test the waters. I tried to read and watch RU-vid dog videos to learn about dogs when I got him, but this video was more helpful than most of the videos I've seen. Thank you for detailing how dogs interact when meeting other dogs.

Two weeks later the kids left the gat open again and guess where he went? She found him the first time on the street. The second time he was at her house laying on the porch when she came home. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 When I picked him up the second time he was sitting on the couch with he little dog earing smoked salmon.😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤

@@iamaced479 you would be surprised how some GSD escape. Have you ever seen a fox or cat climb a fence? We had a GSD in a GSD club who could climb a fence that easily, the owner eventually contained it by buying a smaller dog who couldn't climb the fence lol 😅 We also had an extra one appear in our back yard once it just dug under the fence to play with ours. So unless you cement a dog run in with a roof they can probably get out or in of most places. Ours got on the shed roof once just so it could see inside, we left the bbq against the shed and it climbed from bbq to roof.

She did SO many things wrong. - Approached with an “I know better than thou” attitude. - Presumed the GSD to be aggressive even after the guy told her “I know for a fact he’s friendly.” - She treated Ronin like he was just going to listen to her lame, lazy commands. I’m glad he showed her up by telling Ronin calmly to sit.

That's because intact males produce testosterone and have confidence. They often test each other for dominance. Neutered males are often given a pass when it comes to being challenged, as they tend to be submissive and fearful. Sometimes young intact males will try to dominate neutered males because they're likely easier targets. Many neutered males are fear aggressive though and will bite other pushy dogs.
