Right! And that's just piss poor on the part of the Dealer! How else would you know the pin# or even know about it?!?

The 11' Dyna is a completely different system. The entire system can be replaced on the cheap. I replaced the security module etc. on my 09 Night Train. I bought the whole system on eBay for about $300 ! Good luck to you!

I have seen where a lot of people mention 31313 Also the original dealers zip code. If you are not the original owner, trying to track them down might help. If it's been changed by them, it could be anything!! Good luck to you!

If you look through the comments, I've briefly outlined it a few times. Unfortunately, It will be hit or miss whether or not you dealer is aware of how to do it and if they are willing to. Have you tried the common default codes?.......Hope it works out! Good luck to you!

I'm sorry but that is a very different system than the SGS. There is a TON of info out there on that bike though. I was able to find the pin for my 09 Night Train (similar) with a little effort and time! Good luck!

09 is likely a different system than this 14 SG. The good news is, yours should have the same sytem as my 09 Night Train. That system is much easier and cheaper to replace the whole system if needed. You can typically buy that entire system, used for under $500. If you look in the comments below, you will find how the newer system CAN be reprogrammed but most dealers are hesitant or unaware of how to do that. I'm not sure if it applies to your year bike but there is also an aftermarket scanner some shops have that can pull the pin from the security system. It's called Techno Research. Good luck to you!

Is it the dealer that you bought it from? The bikes, from the factory, have one of a few default codes. If the dealer claims they never changed it and you didn't, it should be easy enough to figure out. If not, you may want to contact Harley Corp.

I'm sorry, but your bike has a different security setup than the SGS. Give your local Harley Dealer a call and they may be able to help.

@@SmittysShop yes i did called them,eventhough they know how to override or bypass the pin code,but they want me to buy a New ECM plus key fob in order for me ride again...wow..

The 07' is a different system than this Street Glide. Do a google search about retrieving the PIN# on your specific model and year bike. If you run out of options, you should be able to replace your entire security system for between $400-$500

Different bikes have different systems. What Bike do you own?

Vrod may be a different system but if you look through the comments you will see I have briefly explained the hack. It will require a willing HD dealer to perform it!

You can download info from a similar bike and "reprogram" your bike with the other bikes info. (if that makes any sense). My local dealer tech told me specifically how he does it, BUT, you would need the Harley software, computer, etc. AND a second bike! I am not sure if the Snap On scanner with Harley softtware is capable of doing this. HOWEVER!!! BE WARNED!!! The feedback I've gotten since posting this video is that MOST dealers do NOT want to perform that procedure! They would rather sell you the new system, etc. which from a business standpoint, I understand. It would be best to speak to a local Harley tech, directly, and see if they can HELP you out! Good luck! The real moral of this story (video) is to make sure you have your PIN# or a spare fob BEFORE this happens to you!

The security system on the 04' is going to be different. There is a lot of info on the web on how to display the pin for the "older" bikes. I also own an 09' Night Train and recently looked up how to access that code and was able to with little effort. To my knowledge though, the fob can only be programmed at the dealer or using a Snap on scanner equipped with Harley software.

2010 is def. different. I have an 09' Night Train and yours may be the same system. My default code on the NT is 11111

04' is a completely different animal. I've seen the info on YT but don't recall the method off the top of my head. I know in the case of many models, an HD dealer can get you a new barrel key (to unlock the forks) by using the VIN # Good luck!

It's a different system. The FB system can actually be replaced for a reasonable amount, if need be. About $400 for control unit, fobs, etc.

That's a different system than the SGS. You have a fob and a standard key on the Sportster?

Your Duece is a very different system. If necessary, you should be able to replace your entire system, inc. fobs for a few hundred dollars!

To my knowledge, Dyna's use a different system. I would check out Harley part # 41000087G. Looks like you can replace the entire system for about $400. Let me know if that helps at all!

I’m also in the same boat. I went from a sportster to a street glide and the dealer gave me no information about obtaining a pin and my buddy lost my only fob. I’ve called and have been told I’m pretty much screwed and have to pay for a new BCM

Interesting! I'm not aware of that. In my case, I had lost the one and only fob! I was fortunate to stumble on the fix for mine (switching zeros to ones in VIN) The download would probably program new fob as well as PIN.

@@SmittysShop I was thinking in the case of a 0 they might go to the next non 0 number. Thanks for the post., I just got a new fob and will try it. This was one of those dealer only things so cool.

@@SmittysShop he had the seat off and layed the fob next to the transmitter., look under street glide security antenna replacement. It will have a guy with his arms in the air with caption, What did I do. In bold letters.
