Lost in a city in Malta and it was WORTH IT !!!! 

My mother was born in Senglea in 1924. Most of that town was bombed in the start of WW2. They lost all they owned and were evacuated to Siggiewi. She is 96 now and the only surviving member of her family. My heart aches when I watch your videos. At least I can see my beloved home. Thanks Alex.

My home town. I spent my childhood there @Alex in Malta. I have very fond memories of the place. I still visit the place regularly because I still live in the south of the island (Żejtun, which you should come and make a video about some day or another). Most of the chuch you see today had to be unfortunately rebuilt after World War 2. Senglea was one of the most bombed places in Europe during that time because British Warships used to dock in the same area were you had lunch with Elif. The place is an open air history museum. Thanks for this lovely video Alex, I was waiting for it.

Hello, Alex--loved this video, too. Reminded me of how my compatriot from the States there in Malta at the same time I was and Ialso wandered through Senglea and went up to that garden and enjoyed the view from that tower/post and marvelled at how quiet the town was. It is a delightful town that you showcased well. Great to show how one can catch a ferry over to The Three Cities.

When I heard the name Elif I guessed straight away that she was from Turkey. I'm British but now live in Istanbul. Yes, you're right, Alex, an amazing city. I love the look and feel of Senglea, one of the places I enjoyed visiting when I was there. You sure had a great time together.

I spent much of my child hood in the summers in Senglea a friend of the family has a flat there that overlooked the docks might not be as attractive but i liked non the less good memories here
