Your Dad is as chill as you Lau. Those rolls of black plastic in the bunker look like 'grip mats', the type of stuff you roll out grass or muddy areas so you don't carve up the ground and sink into it.
Loved your video. Amanda and I are so glad you enjoyed our package. Enjoyed seeing your dad join you on the adventure, keep up the great work, with love from Amanda and Joseph ! Happy Easter !
Hola Lau! Your father is cool! Do another explore with him please. This time secure the pepper spray. LOL Very nice letters and gifts from people who care about you. Great channel! Love ya Lau! ❤
Wow, I love this video. I've been there. There are 78 abandoned munitions bunkers, and all that area was once part of Fort Buchanan. That Fort was so big that even the Old Ferrocarril Train of Puerto Rico has its main line crossing it across. You can still see some remains in the base.
Another fantastic video! And more importantly you featured your super star dad! How fun it was watching you two together on this adventure. As always, thank you for taking us along. Keep bringing the content!!!! Victor & my wife - Villa Rica Ga
Lau, Great to see you and your dad exploring together this time! If you find out about some abandoned location connected to the old Puerto Rico Railroad? I want to visit PR and explore one of those if they exist. Stay Safe ❤
Been a minute, Laura! What a great find of old bunkers in the military woods. It's nice that you featured your father in this video. Great video as always!
Andy! So good to see you again here! Hope your urbex adventures are going great!! And yes had to include then old man in the video since he is the one who found them!
Thanks for your videos. They are instructional with great detail of areas which I had hope to visit. Now I feel better because I can watch and see parts of Puerto Rico through them. I thought before I discovered them here that I would never get a chance to see more of PR . Thanks again and hope the best to you. God bless you. Please continue making them. From NY, Edwin
Hey Laura! Good to see you exploring with your dad. I enjoy the history of your home. The bunkers were amazing. I'm not positive on the material you found inside the open bunker, but I think it was some of the first Marston Mat. Topping for emergency or quick landing strip production. (circa: 1941-1945) Developed in North Carolina. They still make it, it's just made better. Appreciate your positive attitude and your beautiful smile. You always make my day. ❤️👍
Im a watcher to me one of the most emotional videos was when your relative died after you said Goodyear then traveled & got the news of their passing I almost cried with you
The beginning was kind of funny...from lost in the woods to Blairwitch...👻 unfortunately the bunkers were almost all closed. would have been interesting to see more. Nice adventure with your dad👍👍👍
Hello mama. To give is to gain❤.. keep up the good work. God bless you 🙏😊🥰I don’t get to go to Puerto Rico so thank you for taking me along with you I really enjoy it.
Scary adventures or relaxed walks through the woods, your videos are like mini vacations for me, and always a highlight of my week. Thanks for all you do. Oh, and it was great to meet your dad!
Hi Laura love your videos glad you had great time with your father I was in Panama in the Army they have the same bunkers there in the mountains the military bases are not there anymore so stay safe dear always
Lau I enjoyed watching u and ur dad exploring together that's nice and he has some kind energy he left u couple of times😂 girl he's the energizing bunny he can do some walking, he's faster than me it was awesome💙💙❤️❤️😍😍
Lau, Saludos Desde El Barrio de Spanish Harlem, NYC. II so enjoyed your video with your Dad. It must be great to share your adventures with him. Your genuine humility is refreshing. Your down to earth, without the superficial stuff. Always take care of yourself. God's Blessings to you always. 🙏🐇💯👏🗽🚖✈️🇵🇷💃
Lau, I grew up not far from there, on the small hill with the antenna tower at what is now called Bosque San Patricio next to Borinquen Towers/Caparra Heights. Still has evidence of old military housing and facilities there. // I didn't know this area you're showing here, thank you.
Another great adventure with Laura the Explorer. Hey it’s great seeing you and your dad adventuring together. Kudos to your dad who seems to be in good physical shape. Thank you for sharing. John Vega
Alright, another Lauwashere production. And brand new too. Got it within an hour after posting. And more family members. From one Dad to another, hi Laura's Dad. 😊
Those bunkers were cool, but would have been cooler if more of them were open. 😁 I love that you were with your dad. Great to find out I’m not the only older person who watches you! John, who wrote the letter on the back of an “invitation”, is a year older than me and Cleveland is about an hour or so from me. You need to come to Ohio, chica!! ❤

Those Black Rolls are a multi Use item in the military. 1 Road Surface Grip Mats. For Soft dirt or Mud or even wet sand. 2 Construction Aids for Pouring Cement ro keep Wet Cement in Place until it Dries. 3 temporary Barriers for Fortifications until Hardening of earthworks or Cement.
I loaded Cambodian new year. It's something that can help boost your hobby. I only did one on RU-vid. There good, happy people. In July they practice there performance. They have vendors and raffles. Good luck with your new hobby. Latinoamerica spread our wings on all cultures.

Thanks again Amanda! You and the hubby outdid yourselves 🙏🏻 already half way through the eggs and hand sanitizer (and the cookies and cakes are gone) HAHAHAHA. I’ve been gifting eggs to friends and family when I see them
You never disappoint keep up that good work thank you for being the way you are a natural god bless you and your family from joe y wandy see you in your next adventure
LOL! you pup started to bark and it made my dog start to bark as well! 😂
Saludos Lau.
We would store supplies in those bunkers. I'm sure that during WWII, they also stored munitions there. There are similar bunkers on many bases in the U.S. Right before the Gulf War, my unit went from Fort Devens to the Sudbury Annex to retrieve supplies we had in similar bunkers that we needed for deployment. When I was stationed in Fort Buchanan, I knew about these bunkers, but don't recall ever visiting them. This looks like a section that may have been returned to the Commonwealth after a downsizing of the Fort. I saw a video where mountainbikers found these and there were even a few abandoned military vehicles. The bunkers in Sudbury, MA had a loading dock built into the front. Thanks for sharing this adventure.
Hey beautiful Lau! I love everything about you & your videos girl. You inspire me so much to get out there in the world and take a walk and look around. You are so giving and your words are wisdom. Thank you so much for all you do. Thank you so much for all your hard work you are changing lives, and helping people. Watching your videos, has been such an education and it is so valuable. Love you baby girl! Hugs, Freya of TN USA
Freya, you made my day with this comment ❤️ thank you so much for the powerful and encouraging words 💕 the inspiration is already within you, but I’m glad I helped you find it 🫶🏼
❤! Abrazos desde San Antonio Texas. Lista para la próxima aventura.. We're is Lau Now?????🤔😌🏃🏃🏃
Hi Laura, I love watching your videos and it gives me a sense of planning where to go when I re-visit Puerto Rico. I'm from the north-east US (Newark,NJ) and I love adventuring like that. If you get a chance try to go to an old abandoned US Naval base in Sabana Seca. It's right off Rt. 866. Good Luck and God Bless!
I’m glad you got the book OK and now that it arrived with no problem I can go and send you your other part that I promise you and I hope there’s something in the book that tells how to use it also.😊
lol! Well what next on your agenda? I have not been to PR since 1983! Retired from the Army after 21 years Retired from the VA after 20yrs in 2021. I’m a single dad raising my 17 n 25 year old sons. My oldest studying to be a Dr. in physical therapy. The youngest a junior in high school. So I watch your shows as much as I can of the island 🏝️. I don’t know if I have any family left there lost connection with them many years ago. So I rely on your shows for now maybe one day next year I’ll get to visit! In the meantime I’ll continue to enjoy your shows.
Hey i also been here since u started🎉🎉🎉 ur videos i will be in PR soon since i have visited for years born there but raised in NYC ... hope i could meet you since i will be also out there to explore🎉🎉
Lau belive it or not I have a relative who was institutionalized in all juvenile detention facilities in Puerto Rico and escaped them all, and at one time as he was hiding in the forest with a bunch of other inmates they sent national guards to retrieve them, when he turned 18 the court gave him the option to leave the island with a relative in the mainland or go to OSO BLANCO prisión as an adult.
This MAY BE your dad's First cameo on THIS channel, but he was in At Least one on your Other channel... I think it May Have been one of your short movies. 🤔 You 2 make an AWESOME Team!!!
I picked up pepper spray in a riot that broke out in the jail. I wasn't in jail but I lived nearby... water, water, water:). Those black rolls look like silt fencing, primor. You got a cool dad. He also appeared in the Christmas video one of my favorites with the one in the water park in Ponce that almost took my heart out, that video must be forbidden to your dad;). Moreover, and watching the one at Kmart was so nostalgic that I thought I was in the cinema watching a film by a famous director.
Tremendo video though 😁💪🏻💪🏻✌🏻
I can’t wait to see videos will you put that book and the other part a year gift that I’ll be sending you into years and some of your paranormal research videos
Hola, Laura, my name is Paul Wilson, I reside in a small community called, Lily, here in Kentucky. I am a big fan of your channel, girl you are so amazing: by doing what you do, helps me in so many ways...I don't know how to express it to you. You're so beautiful, I love you, not in a perverted sort of way; but, as a friend! I know you don't know me, and in a round about way, I don't know you. But I would love to meet you in person... to spend a day just hanging together and that way, I get to meet and talk with my favorite RU-vid hostess! I think that would be very cool, I'm not a long time viewer, but I have seen a lot of your videos. Girl you "roca"! If that's the right translation? Anyhow, keep on, keeping on! You definitely got a lot of spunk! Peace to you, from Lily Kentucky.
if anything look up the public records there should be something there telling you what they were used for and there are even potentially maps of the area showing how many there are and if there are potential threats like old mine fields
