That doll on the floor 🤣 so creepy.. I’m actually holding my breath in suspense in fear you’re gonna get jumped or something but here you are.. you got out safe and sound and uploaded the video and everything but I’m still $&@%#^ my pants
I use to work here back in 1989. Totally amazing, busy mall, vibrant! Could not find a parking space! They had the movie theater with 18 screens. Macy,s Jordan Marsh, Burdines were the major store. Ira hard when I pass by this mall today ths5 it is so dead and desolate! They need to repurpose the space Vinton maybe a hospital. College, medical center or apartment buildings.
OMG tell me this is not Sabana Seca. I will cry right now. I spent one of the happiest times in my life there. There was SO much life and energy there. Back in the day, the Marines and Navy guys would party non stop and us college girls would join them. The air was electric because youth was everywhere. I wonder if our crazy singing stuck to the atmosphere there somehow and you heard us in some point of the ether.
Since the callsign is “N426AA” It’s A MD-82 With That Exact Callsign, And It’s Retro Livery. Surprisingly It’s 32yr’s. Idk but it’s still a really cool plane to see as they don’t make the MD-82 In AA Anymore “or literally just the MD-82 lol”
As a kid i grew up going to this mall in the early 90s.. but as a teen i started going to the aventura mall by myself. Both malls heve special places for me
I grew up with this mall for 22 years. This mall has been nearly dead for few decades now. Malls like Aventura Mall, Dolphin Mall, Dadeland Mall, and Sawgrass Mall are the premium main attractions here in Miami. This mall and Southland are in desperate need to be rebuilt and be innovative with modern attractive business and infrastructure with new and exciting amenities to attract today's consumers.
Wow, 163rd st mall. As a kid we used to go to the arcade. There was a movie theater behind the mall. It wasn't a great area when I was a kid in the 80's. Me and my brother walked all the way to the 163rd street mall as kids which wasn't a close walk and we got home really late after dark. We got the worse spankings of our lives. It was a cool mall at least in the late 80's from what I remembered.
Shit i work there back in the 90’s that 20 years ago and it was dead just like you see it in this video. Back then every mall in miami was still striving.
Alot has to do with location and crime in the 90s it was synonymous with gang violence at the time that is more the reason than aventura taking the customers although that did play a part a little
I live around here. There is a Home Depot and North Miami Beach senior high school behind it (north side). Plus a Walmart on the east side. The mall is still open.
Aventura mall ate them up gah damn And rightfully so lol My go to malls as a teenager were Lincoln Road and Aventura mall, being a Miami Beach native:) Cool vid
Anyone remember the Cozolis pizza in the second or third floor i believe? I also remember going to see I kmow what you did last summer at the movies there in 1997. It was hilarious with everyone laughing and yelliing during the whole movie😅 anyway that mall is still there but pretty abandone. Only Ross is bring traffic there. HOME DEPOT and walmart are right next door to the mall so theres always people in that area and its definitely not dead.
The Chinese Restaurant across the street from 163rd Street mall was fire 🔥 👌. I remember going to Aventura Mall as a kid in Elementary School Chorus Club to sing around Christmas time. Ahh it was like magic. This video brought back memories. I remember like it was yesterday. Shoppers looking in awe clapping for us after each song. The white people were trying to do the bankhead bounce. I don't care what my cousins say about the suburbs. I will always love my black experience.
All the malls that blacks hang out at they shutdown put less security on purpose so crime can go up and shut them down- Omni Mall ,163st mall ,Mall of America, Sunset Mall , International Mall , 183st flea market, 79 Flea market, Opa Locka Flea market, 54st Flea Market
That's crazy...I used to go there at least once a month th when I was in high school....I remember one day Michael Jackson was there and people were mobbin him. Good times at that mall 🥲
You have to go frecuently to see something. Lucky people had an experience in the first visit. The ufo sighting is something normal to the people who lives in the extraterrestrial rute.
