Between 1965 and 1972, twenty-three residents of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, were killed in the Vietnam conflict. Fifteen were soldiers, six were marines, one was a sailor, one was an airman. Posted as part of the "War & Life: Discussions with Veterans" project. warandlifedisc... The McKeesport 23 were brought to the attention of War and Life by Donald Nemchick, cousin of Michael Nemchick who was killed in Vietnam in February 1966.
