This was taken from my stream on January 17th, 2021! I'm live every day except Saturday from 11AM-4PM PT, check me out: / northernlion
After so much time streaming I sometimes feel like I've lost touch with the real me -- the me that exists in those brief moments when I'm not discussing what specifically determines whether something is a sandwich or a "breakfast sandwich" (something to do with eggs probably, although a non-breakfast sandwich can have an egg as long as it's not served on an english muffin or croissant). Let's take some personality quizzes to find out where I stand!

Well, it shares a lot of similarities with the Big Five model (specifically, the traits extraversion, intuition, thinking, and judging correspond almost exactly to extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness) which has loads of evidence behind it and is used extensively in psychology and in the job market, so we know there's at least that much truth in it. However, the way that the test is designed, as well as most of the descriptions and the general theory behind the model are all likely invalid.

Im a Psychology student and I can tell you that the Meiers-Briggs Personality Test, which thsi one seems to be based ok, is not very Scientific. Check out the Big 5 Personality Scale, its scientifically rigorous and has been the gold standard for decades in Psychological reasearch.

But it is certainly a strange one. Not fully convinced it's accurate but I got INFP and the descriptions fit me a little too well.

Just to make sure the people watching this aren’t misled. While the Myers Briggs personality system is scientific and well done, this test is not how the system was designed. This test tests for the individual traits rather then for the cognitive functions, which is how the letters interact and is what the system is based on. The test basically treats it like a Big 5 test with Myers Briggs labels. So while it can be accurate it definitely is not always right.

Fun fact: 16p is NOT MBTI. It's the Big 5 (OCEAN model) represented as the MBTI. You should do a "cognitive functions test" (keys2cognition is a good one), you'll get a more accurate test that way. Another thing that is most commonly paired up with MBTI is the Enneagram test, which lets you see a different part of your brain functionality and personality.
