Who knew there were mountains in Oklahoma! We found them...and got lost in them. All while trying to dodge an oncoming thunderstorm. Whoops.

Great vid. Last time I hiked this I was like 17 and got twisted around and ended up scaling a rock face that was probably only 30' high but man I thought it was horrible! The scene from the top and the arches are awesome. It is supposedly called Elk Mountain as during the early 1900s they were still finding shed antlers of the extinct Merriams Elk in the area.

We're doing a pretty major hike today...we've already planned an Ice Cream stop for after. 😂 And...there literally no pizza within 45 minutes of Elk Mountain.
