This week I'm Season 1 Episode 2 of the television show LOST which, somehow, I've never seen. We're two episodes in and I already have so many questions.
I watched this show for the first time last year and had no idea what the show was about. I love this show! The storylines, character development, themes, everything! Just great! I hope you’ll continue with the show
They do ask a lot of questions - try not to lose sight of when the answers are given (like you did with how Charlie survived w/o being buckled in). A lot of people get overwhelmed by the questions and then brush off the answers, which is a shame.
As close as possible, yes. This time of year my job gets totally bonkers so it makes it hard to get everything edited quickly (I'm still in the middle of a steep learning curve with that stuff)...but I'll be sticking to as close to once a week as I can and then when my schedule gets back to normal the release schedule should also get a little more predictable.
Welcome to the island!! There are many Losties out there who love to experience the journey again with people who have never seen the show. Keep watching and the Lost community will find you. Avoid spoilers!! Lost is like fine art. Just let it flow over you.
Thanks. I'm definitely enjoying it quite a bit so far. I've been avoiding spoilers to the best of my ability...it's been out for like 20 years so there are things I have a vague awareness of based on overheard conversations...but I have no context for them so they don't spoil much. The thing that WAS a spoiler was the episode description that I accidentally read on Hulu when I was pulling the episode up to watch it. I'll definitely be avoiding that in the future.
She wasn't quite as useless as she initially appeared. They wouldn't have understood the transmission if she hadn't joined the hike. Although maybe blissful ignorance would have been preferable 🤔
@@OldBeardedGuyReacts She definitely comes across as spoilt and entitled from everything we've seen so far. Looking forward to you learning so much more about all our characters.
Oh no, you called Shannon what Boone does.😢 Dude, I just wanna say, if I crashed in a plane, I'd def get me some sun. What else Ima do? Rather do that than sit there fully clothed, staring out at the ocean. Boring af. Also, when she's talking with an attitude..notice who it's towards. That kind of thing can be personality, or it can be just attitude. One is permanent, and towards all. The other is specific. Same can be said about Sawyer. Also, we don't know the whys. Begs the question how quickly do we judge.
Doing a reaction on RU-vid is a bit of a double edged sword...some of the more judgemental stuff I say is mostly a more extreme version of what I'm actually thinking. So when I say something like "this girl's totally useless" it's mostly just me being frustrated with her character. It's also not completely fair that I know that they're going to on the island a long time when they assume they're getting rescued soon.
In the original script, Jack had to die at the end of the pilot episode and Kate take the head of the group. Jack had to be interpreted by Michael Keaton (Batman from 1990’s). But the authors changed their opinions, Keaton had other obligations and could not stay for an entire series. So Matthew Fox was hired for the role and did very well. In the French version, the recorded message is in German. As for the questions, don't worry. As I told you, Lost is life. And in life, there are also lots of questions. Sometimes someone gives you the answer, sometimes you have to find it, sometimes you invent your own answer, sometimes you don't have it before the next life. In Lost, it's the same. I never had an unanswered question in this show.
