Bless Shane. 20 yrs on and was able to recreate Scott spot on. All the subtle inflections and variations that differentiated from Shane's own speaking voice.

i never realised this was 'lost' - I've had it on tape for years. it always impressed me how the voice actors were all able to slip back into their roles so easily after a 20+ year gap. But I love what you've done hear - and that you have dedicated it to Shane

If only Anderson could have been allowed to revive the series in the 80s/90s. That's when remakes would really have done justice to the originals I think.

Well done Jamie, I've never heard that piece before and the visuals were great! It reminded me that in the 1980s (or early 1990s?) Radio 5 Live did a series of Thunderbird radio broadcasts which I guess used the C21 record episodes, with great introductions by Gerry. Shane Rimmer did the "Thunderbirds are back" intro bit. Do you have access to them?

@@GerryAndersonTV I'd love to hear those too. Trying to get decent copies of the mini albums. I have some of the Fanderson sets, I think some of them are sold out. I'm almost tearful here this is so nice. It's such a shame they couldn't have done a new series in the 80s or 80s/90s. It would have been a great time with it doing so well on the telly again.

@@marcusblackwell2372 Gerry passed away in 2012, there are several excellent documentaries available already. Check out Filmed In Supermarionation and Century 21 Slough. Terrahawks has also had a 3 series audio revival in the last few years, search for it on the Big Finish website for some free sample episodes.

@@marcusblackwell2372 Gerry's son Jamie is in charge of the channel and the legacy projects Gerry was working on when he passed away (such as Gemini Force One). More info on those on the Official Gerry Anderson Website. Thunderbirds Are Go has no connection to the other series and is not a Gerry Anderson production, it was created by WETA in New Zealand.
