2 hrs 10 mins from Warsaw to Athens. That emphasises how compact Europe is. In my home state Western Australia a member of our family flew 2 hrs 35 mins for a holiday in the north of the state. She didn't cross any international or even internal border. Nor was she even near the state border.
it depends on the country,,In Italy or Norway from North to South is 2hr flight..In Spain if you include the Canaries is 3hrs from mainland and so is Svalbard from Oslo that belongs to Norway
Flew LOT 787-9 last summer from Warsaw to Toronto in Business. The nonstop was the only hi light. The cabin is dated, the lounge in non-Schengen in terrible and the catering was very weak. The cabin needs an immediate update. Will avoid for now.
This is exactly what you can't list for working for American Airlines on a ZED ticket. LOT Polish Airlines Business Class. However, if you work for United Airlines or any Star Alliance air carrier then you can list for LOT Polish Airlines Business Class on a ZED ticket. Working for American Airlines, you can only list for LOT Polish Airlines Economy Class in which you can't upgrade at all. The only way to upgrade on a coach ZED ticket is that the airport operations manager has to perform a special function to override the system.
Hey, keen Australian follower and former points chaser with Emirates and world traveller here. Was set to hit 47 countries in 2020 but Covid. Can I ask how it feels to travel normally again? Our country has been amazing at supressing covid and while it's been hard for me not to be overseas once 2 years in a row, I almost have a phobia of going overseas again and have forgotten the exhilaration of flying and travel. We're talking about opening up and travelling internationally again soon but even a 3 hr flight to Fiji gives me the heebie jeebies now. How do you maintain a sense of normality travelling and not being afraid?
It didn’t seem that business class was even half full … was it? I agree with you … meal looked skimpy/poor 🤷♂️ but at least you had something to eat 😉
For an intra European Business Class, this layout is outstanding. The competition sells economy seats with a blocked middle seat as business class. 2-2-2 in a 787 is even better than most of Lufthansas longhaul business class in the A330/A340, as the fuselage is wider.
