What is My Trips: My Trips is a RU-vid channel dedicated to aviation. The aim of the channel is to review as many airlines as possible and help you decide which one is the best to fly with. The reviews include mainly economy and business class flights, however whenever possible, there will be some first class flights too. More than anything I want to share my experiences with you!
Who am I: My name is Matt. I live in the UK and I work full time in the medical sector. My dream was to become a pilot but I never chased this dream. Flying on a plane and anything about aviation is something like a hobby for me. I fly a lot for business, for leisure, to visit friends and family but also sometimes just to film and review an airline! Through my several years of flying I have gained some experience and knowledge about airlines which now I wish to share with you through this channel. Hopefully, you will find it useful.
I live in south east Norway. The nearest airport is Oslo Gardermoen (OSL), the easiest airport to travel to. No Ryanair flights depart or arrive there. Ryanair is flying to and from Torp airport (TRF), which is further away.
Outstanding video. You're lucky have an A321 Neo, you only knew you'd get an A321 for this flight. Their catering service had been even better in the past, they served a full meal on all international flights no matter how short it would be
Fantastic video, I loved every second of it! Thank you for sharing. Now Sky Express operates also international flights, I went to Athens last November from Rome with the A320neo. You made me want to try same experience you had, maybe with a longer stop in Chios. Check my video of an ATR72 landing in Skiathos if you want! Bye
Wow, I hope you did not have to pay a lot for a 4 hour flight from the middle east to Rome, Italy in Europe. I would not fly RJ airlines until they get new livery and better trained flight attendants that are on point with the passenger whether he/she is a first class, business class, or economy class passenger. At least all was clean. Thanks for sharing.
The plane in the video is one of the four leased by Lufthansa. Which means that there are not enough planes to service the long flights to Europe after the pandemic
As one that wouId fIy internationaIIy on a reguIar basis from the earIy 1970's I gave up with BA around 1980, I wouId avoid them at any cost. Nothing seems to have changed, how they manage to stay in business aII these years is beyond me? Great video though!
There used to be a military rifle range right where the camera is. We did the conversion course from the old lee enfield to the slr ( self loading rifle ) here. Gib was ok for a week or two but any longer and you begin to hate the place.
I’ve flown in and out Gib dozens of times perfectly safely 737,757,A320. Rein in your “DANGEROUS” title. It wouldn’t have an Operating Licence if it were. Stop being silly.
Nice video, poor title ... you missed out the word SHOCKING (in upper case of course) alongside the MOST DANGEROUS. Gib is one of the best places to learn to sail yachts: sun and strong winds!
I found Turkish to be pretty good. Flew them from Athens-Istanbul & then from Istanbul back to Tel Aviv. A319 service on both flights, comfortable service (I sat in the exit row on both flights) for short-hop flights.
Hello, I will be flying this same airlines in Sept. Are the first row in the business class spacious? Also, Do they have designed space for both your carry on and hand bag since there are no seats in front of you? Did they measure your carry on? What size personal can you carry on? I did not see any measurements on the website. only suggestions.
Clickbait! Neither GIB nor LCY are particularly dangerous - they are both a little non-standard, but that is far different from dangerous or they wouldn't be approved for commercial aviation. Other than that an enjoyable video.
I don't think the product worth the price you paid. The Aer Lingus lounge was the only closed lounge despite DUB being their main hub, that's disappointing. I agree that they couldn't serve a meal on this short flight, but they could have served a drink.
