Oh man, I love the opening 40 seconds of this. The sound of the river, the perfectly placed camera angle looking into the tunnel, the locomotive's lights shining on the rails, those same lights seen as star-shapes with your narrow aperture, and then that sudden change of sight and sound when the locomotives emerge into the daylight open track. As always, thanks for the excellence of your craft.
@@TracksideTyson Detail (your video) inspires detail in my comments. I like to contemplate why a scene impacts me, and then try to put that into words. And because I'm wired as a fine-detail person myself, I notice the things in other people's videos that indicate their level of planning for all the small things that make an effective scene. ....and I love to write :)
Nice catches! Since CP has trackage rights here, KCS has pretty much become a common sight on the CP trains now which is super nice. I even caught a grey ghost leader the other day!
They talk about the trees 🌲 and mountains out here in the East, ha I always say you want to see mountains and tall trees go West young man these here are just hills
I believe it’s used to store MOW equipment but it would certainly get trapped there as they sometimes store empty grain cars here for long periods of time.
