Peter B. Parker better not die, he’s such a wholesome character and by far my favorite version of Peter in any of the spiderman movies, he’s just so lovable and relatable

I think if he has to go and fight the spot he wouldn't bring her, and that would literally be his death being foreshadowed at the midpoint in the movie when he goes and drops her off at home
I can’t imagine that vision of the future will be kept perfectly intact. Miles already saved the police chief in Mumbattan, who appeared in that vision as well as his dad. I think beyond the spider-verse is more interested in denying the fate portrayed in canon events and in that vision than perpetuating it.
@@lambdpro3982 unless it's to serve his own narrative, while serving as an exposition for Peter B Parker. He thought breaking a Canon results in an automatic world wipe, but in reality, another event that can balance the canon change out can stop the world from being plunged into obscurity. Maybe Miguel is the first to discover this upon sacrificing himself in the midpart of the show, and Peter, learning from Miguel's book, changes Miles's dad's canon by giving his own life.

I don’t think Miguel would die off in the next move. I think it’ll probably be Peter B. It makes sense because he’s kind of like another dad to Miles, Miguel was a character only in the 2nd movie and right now Miles thinks of him as an ally and has no feelings of affection towards him
I think based off the comics and the set up it’s gonna be his mom, they’re making it seem like his dads gonna die but considering how the first movie was ab getting miles out of his comfort zone, and how they show his bond with his mom being a bit stronger than with his dad, and in the comics she dies, I’m scared she’s gonna be the one that goes
Also we have to remember, these three films have the trope of “everything but obvious” it’s clear they want us to think it’s gonna be someone obvious, but it’s gonna be someone we wouldn’t expect.
Im a Harry Potter fanatic and I’m used to main characters dying, even good ones. For example Fred Weasley, one of the most wholesome and funny people in the series die. Or even Sirius when he died. The point I’m making is that it’s not that crazy to kill an important character that’s good. Sure we will be surprised, however the point of that death is to bring emotion and show everybody is not safe.
I really hope miles and Gwen can finally be together and I hope both of them survive and maybe Miguel see that you can save them all but he sacrfiice himself for that
that’s bound to happen, i’m almost positive gwen isn’t gonna die in this movie. one of the main canons miles is trying to rewrite is spider-man’s gwen dying, so it wouldn’t make sense if he failed in doing that. plus i got think sony wants to finally break the streak of spider-man’s never having a happy ending in a relationship
At the end of the movie the two of them are going to kiss but Gwen is going to know that it won't work between them or that she can't let it work and she will decide to go to another Universe She Will portal over to the Marvel Spider-Man Insomniac universe and end up falling in love with that Miles

I think Miguel is gonna die saving miles father. It makes sense for a good narrative and would be a sort of an action of redemption for his actions as well as a “I was wrong” moment in the movie. I don’t think Gwen nor Peter B will be killed off unless they wanna be as brutal as the comic writers.

If I remember correctly, the pattern of deaths, for people close to Spider-Man is always, a relative, their mentor and also their best friend. So since Miles' Uncle is dead, next could really be Peter B Parker and Gwen

Miles will die. He’s not suppose to be a Spiderman, so this “canon event” actually isn’t suppose to affect him. Gwen’s father didn’t die because he hung up his badge and the only other person Gwen truly care about is Miles, who will eventually die because it’s part of Gwen’s canon story.

I just had a striking revelation last night that the spider-verse charactets are personifications of arcana This may help us figure out what will happen in the third movie earlier :0 We'll start with miles in the first movie. Miles is most definitely the fool. The Fool is a card of new beginnings, opportunity and potential. Just like the young man, you are at the outset of your journey, standing at the cliff's edge, and about to take your first step into the unknown. Is that familiar? Of course because exactly how miles was in the first movie! A year later the second film has miles becoming the Hanged man, the hanged man understands that his position is a sacrifice that he needed to make in order to progress forward - whether as repentance for past wrongdoings, or a calculated step backward to recalculate his path onward. This time he spends here will not be wasted, he does this as part of his progression forward. His upside down state can also symbolize the feeling of those that walk a spiritual path, for they see the world differently. Where there are others that do not understand the need to sacrifice, you see it differently. This is a natural course of action for you as you walk the path alone. This is basically miles character throughout the movie not wanting his daddy to die and having all the spider people against him for being an anomaly. In the third movie he's probably gonna be the world Moving on to Gwen Stacy who is obviously the lovers tarot, The Lovers is a card of open communication and raw honesty. Given that the man and woman are naked on the og card, they are both willing to be in their most vulnerable states and have learned to open their hearts to one another and share their truest feelings. This will likely be the darkest Sony animation film of all time if not the darkest Spider-man movie of all time, due to the fact that The Spot and Miguel O’Hara in his upgraded white suit are both powerful enough to cause chaos, but the earlier of the two is capable enough to wipe out half of the different spider-men and might include the heartbreaking death of one of the spider-gang members. BTSV is going to be extremely intense come 2024/25/26.
Considering the whole point of these movies is to show how miles is independent and doesn't need to abide by a common story it would make zero sense for gwen to die because that'd just lump him in with every other spiderman and same situation with his mentor/father figure Pete B
Gwen makes the most sense to die plot-wise/character arc-wise, but Peter B. Parker makes the most sense to die from a marketing/merchandise perspective because he's basically just a repeat of other Peter Parkers and Gwen can make a lot of money with spin-off projects. I doubt Miguel will die taking that into account. I'd like to think this series is above that but I would not be surprised if the studios blocked a script in which the most marketable spider-beings were killed off
There’s no way they’ll kill Gwen because it goes against the moral of the story. The movies have two main themes: one is that anybody can put on the mask and the second is to choose your own story. In the romantic climax of the second movie Gwen explicitly states that every other time Gwen Stacey falls for spider-man it doesn’t work out and Miles responds by saying there’s a first time for everything, which shows Miles choosing his own story. That means if they kill off Gwen then it would completely undermine one of the two major morals of the story, implying that you can’t actually choose your own story and there’s no way Sony would do that.
Gwen’s story wrapped up so there’s a chance and it’s been foreshadowed…… Peter B is also in the crosshairs he’s lived a good life and he’ll probably sacrifice himself bc “it’s what we do” to save miles
The story is building up to show that Miles can break the mold that Spider-Men HAVE to be defined by loss and tragedy. It's about total empowerment, having your cake and eating it too. No one's dying.
I just thought of something. So I think Pav will die. Because he never had the cannon moment of a close family member dying. He’s used to it always being easy. As he literally said in the movie. So, when he fights spot, I think it will be a lot harder and he’ll see all these other spider people he’s know dying and he’ll end up dying too.
She isn't an anomaly really, she was destined to be bit by her radioactive spider, the thing that makes miles an anomaly is he was never even meant to become spiderman. And she wasnt even the one to cause the anomaly, i think the reason her dad retired was after that encounter with spiderwoman before Miguel took her, so if anything, Miguel caused an anomaly in this dimension, he broke the canon event
here's my script for beyond the spider-verse coming out next year the film picks up right where across left off as miles manages to escape earth 42 not knowing he is being followed by that earth's miles and aaron he makes it back home and gets into a fight with the spot right after finding him they throw some quips the spot dodges a lot of miles's punches and other attacks the spot eventually gains the upper hand
Miles has 2 choices but both will or might fail: 1: He saves his father which would mean that most of the Spider-Men will be alive but his universe will either have a black hole or be destroyed. 2: He doesn't save his father which would mean the Spider-Men will die and The Spot would win in both scenarios.
I think that they will kill Peter B Parker and have Miles mentor Mayday Parker. I also think that Miguel (and maybe Jessica Drew) will die leaving Gwen in charge of the spider society
I'm suspecting that we're going to find out in full exactly how Spot's powers work. Remember how we saw bread coming out of him early on in AtS? I don't think his holes destroy anything, but suck them into another place. And if they can be pulled in, they can be pushed out.
Most Likely its gonna be Peter B Parker. Mayday Parker does have a universe in which she was the only spiderman. If you read Spiderman comics. Spiderman cannot be Happy for to long in terms of love. Something tragic always happens whether its to him or the ones he loves

I think it might be Peter B Parker that died. He has to die for Mayday to have her origin story, and he falls under the mentor category for Miles. His death is most likely written in stone already. The next movie might involve Miles being truly despised by the spider community for the deaths he caused by being an anomaly. That, or maybe we arent even watching his Spiderman origin, but the origin of his Spider God thing. I forgot the name, but wasnt there an iteration of Miles that became like a spider god or something?

Ok but, and hear me out on this one, and I hate to say it BUT it actually makes perfect sense for Peter B. Parker to die. If you think about it. Because miles wasn’t supposed to be Spider-Man, and because Peter B. Realised he wanted to become a father as a result of teaching miles. Peter B. Was never meant to be a father. So that means the baby is an anomaly too. And since the original Peter Parker died in Miles’ universe because of Miles, then that means Peter B. could die because of the anomaly of his child. Also on top of that it makes sense that he will die because his universe won’t be left without a Spider-Man as a result either. Thinking about how if all these spider people die there won’t be a Spider-Man in a whole lot of dimensions. But Peter B’s will still have a spider-person when the baby grows up.

My guesses on who will die in Beyond the Spider-Verse: 1. Gwen (She might die saving Miles' dad, but she’s supposed to be in the female Spider-Verse spin-off film, but she could still potentially die). 2. Peter B. Parker (He could sacrifice himself to save Miles' dad). 3. Miles 1610 (He either dies savimg his father or gets killed in the final confrontation with Spot). 4. Rio Morales (Failing to kill Jefferson, Spot targets and kills Miles' mom).
I highly doubt Peter is gonna die it’s almost as if marvel has beaten the idea in us that Peter can’t have a kid without dying. If anyone dies I would kind of expect it to be Rio morales I feel like they really emphasized the relationship they had in this movie
Although I doubt it happens, it would be a MAJOR plot twist if GWEN sacrifices herself in battle somehow to save MILES’ parents. So he never gets to live a life with GWEN and it truly haunts him. Not every movies has to have a happy ending…

I think spider man’s closest friend dying might be a canon event. In the Raimi movies, Harry Osborne dies. In Amazing Spider Man 2, Gwen dies. In No Way Home, MJ falls off a building, but Andrew saves her (break in canon?), and in Gwen’s universe, Peter dies. So I think that means either Gwen or Peter B will die in Beyond
Peter B. Parker is gonna die because Marvel writers consider it illegal for anyone with spider powers to have a happy family life for a prolonged period of time. It's like when you get spider powers they come with a free coupon for "permanent misery" that you're not allowed to refuse.
I think people overthink too much. Canon events are literally in the hands of the writers. Writers want to make a compelling story that the viewer can see himself as spider-man and without that suffer it's not a good spider-man story, hence why "universes" get deleted once they don't happen, the writers will simply think it doesn't fit spiderman and it wouldn't sell so they erase the whole concept. This is why Spiderman 99 2nd universe ( the one he had a family ) gets erased, bc it wouldn't sell as a good spiderman story. We as the viewers are the cause of these canon events and why universes get erased. Canon events are very vague and may not happen if the writers decide if the story is good so don't be shocked if at the end nobody dies, miles saves everyone and no universe gets erased. They fulfilled their promise of bringing in the sales and are not worth destroying ( This is why Indian spider-man's universe, I forgot it's number and his name, doesn't get deleted once miles saves the chief of police ) with the hole that was supposedly made by the disruption of the canon event looking more like it was made from spot's powers
Interesting take, but we have to consider the fact that this is all happening in universe. The way I see it, the reason why the universe with Miguel’s family was erased was due to the events of Into the Spider-Verse. We can see that when we see Miguel’s alternate universe erased: the characters and environment disappear into an effect similar to the glitching effect from Into the Spider-Verse. Another thing: if the what Miguel says about the canon is true, then Gwen’s father shouldn’t have left the force, but rather he would have stayed and died. The canon broke, but without the intervention of Miles (ironically, it was Miguel and Jess’s fault, and they’re the ones trying to maintain the canon). Rather, I believe the canon doesn’t actually exist. It’s just a concept Miguel made up to explain the destruction of his alternate universe, and one that he is trying to enforce on others out of fear that it will happen again. Miguel’s alternate universe and Spider-Man India’s universe were just victims of circumstance, not events directly caused by someone’s actions
I personally think that Miles and the rest of his friends will sto Spot, but Miguel will want to make sure that the canon event still takes place, so it will actually be Miguel who kills Miles’ father.
