Excessive spending for sure. I live in a beautiful double wide and if I would hit big I would buy some land and move my home. No more lot rent lol I would fill up my freezer, and cook and have neighborhood parties. I don’t want a mansion or expensive cars. I would however take a trip back to Hawaii. ❤
I get a kick out of people who buy these mansions and luxury cars but don't account for the taxes on the houses at the end of the year and all the years after. People PLEASE get financial advisors and attorneys and investment broker. If you win close to a billion....hire security detail. 24/7. That's what ALL the billionaires have. They don't walk around without it. I admire those that live just like they did prior to winning other than a few large purchases.
@@UrBnUnderdogg No I'm not rich but I watch many of the video's where the lotto winners lose everything and go bankrupt because they didn't account for the taxes. Sorry you get so angry when someone is trying to help those that could come into instant winnings and not be prepared.
@@5GreenAcresyou are making assumptions. This program gets views by showing the lottery lifestyle of buying material items, they don't tall anout tge invest portfolios because nobody would watch it. You have no idea where these people have their money invested.
Why are people so obsessed with large houses and buying 15 cars? So many of these people are broke now because of this. If even half of them had purchased 5-10 investment properties they'd still be wealthy right now.
If they can’t handle little money, they won’t be able to handle BIG money. For the people who have lived frugally prior to winning… they seem to hang onto their winnings.
@JENKEN425 And the collection of pawn shop junk bought by Jeff fick with his father's winnings and stored in a motel room (for safety, then the room number and name of motel given by him in the film) costing $80 a night. By the time he started his "business " the cost of storage for the junk would have been at least 20x it's resale value.
You never know, your family will beg you for money 24/7 or you get married she divorce you and take all your generational wealth or you lose it all in lawyer fees.
It’s “Pickwa” Ohio. How it’s pronounced. Not Peekwa. Lol. I have family that have lived there forever. It was quite the news in that small town when those co workers won
The nr. 1 guy, the ex-jailbird, he won $3.7mill? Why was he standing with the big cheque that said he won $17.5 mill? Was the 3.7mill what was left after taxes?
