I reckon vaguely supernatural things will happen that further the cults belief in Lottie, but they'll keep it vague if its her medical condition or not.
The creators have said that they are keenly aware of the idea that some may attach Lottie's personality in the woods to mental illness, and they are going to be very careful about avoiding the stigma of MI. So I see the show going towards her being a medium for the supernatural and such, not what happens to a schizophrenic person who goes off her meds.
@@jhoff1234 Honestly I think making her a medium would be even worse. "Person with psychosis/DID/delusions was actually just a vessel for the supernatural all along" is such a tired trope, and it's rooted in some heinous bullshit surrounding mentally ill people being percieved as demonic.

when she’s at the lake and told jackie “thought it’d be warmer” she’s also predicting laura lee’s death bc the plane crashing in the lake would make it warmer
Shes not a villain, there is no villain, just a whole heaps of girls who had alot of outer experiences due to traumatic experiences and believing in something that isnt there.
I gotta feeling it'll never really say for sure if it's in their heads or not. Which is more compelling to me. The idea of what people can do when they're removed from the civilized world n the constraints of law. And more importantly what they can do when they feel as tho its out of their hands - when they feel that they're being controlled or at least guided by sumthn bigger than themselves.
Why haven't anyone discussed what Bunker was that, when Lottie had the vision of the infected animal.. And then the day after when they opened him, was covered in worms.. It's obvious that's all underneath the wilderness.. And that's why the animals are getting poisoned.. People should talk more about the bunker vision
So is it something supernatural or lottie being off her meds I know it's meant to be ambiguous but i mean the teddy bear catching on fire and then Jackie's dream?
i think it's probably nothing supernatural but the show will never outright reveal whether it is or isn't. so far i think everything could have a logical explanation. like the plane was sat there for months or even years, the fuel probably went bad and it caught on fire as the planes engines heated up. jackies dream though is more sinister, same with lottie speaking french. i have no explanation for those things
