My own headcanon is the other way around funnily : Yuka created it and Gengetsu copied it while feasting on her dreams (a bit as Aldrich in Dark Souls if you know that series). This is based on my theory that Yuka sleeps in stage 5 because of the Getsu sis devouring her dreams (and thus the extra stage would be a dreamworld within a dreamworld a la Inception). I also think (despite this video) that Mugetsu and Gengetsu are one and the same cosplaying dream demon (since we do not see there together in the series). That would make Mugetsu not lie when she talks about her creating the world of the extra stage.

Nah, Yukari and Mima wouldn't co-operate like this. In fact I actually hold the headcanon that Yukari destroyed Mima for good after her MS Extra ending because an evil spirit plotting to become a god is an extremely bad thing for a land of youkai.

Dunno, but Jynx is actually on the len'en mugenri series at the moment, a danmaku of his own. Perhaps when he finishes the pc-98 remakes (I think Rika's extra is next, and then perhaps even HRtP ?)

I would put Yorihime and Toyohime at n°0. actually. Yorihime did beat Sakuya, Remilia, Marisa and only Reimu managed to finish in a ex_aecqo (since she threatens her to summon some god to corrupt the moon). Toyohime managed to make Yukari kinda surrender under the threating of her destroying the whole of Gensokyo in one sweep of her nuclear fan. Also, Eirin is actually the mentor of both Yorihime and Toyohime, implied to be a million years old by ZUN, and she may very well be hiding her true potential in IN. After all, she gives the player characters the elixir to beat up Junko no matter what happens (pointdevice mode)

What do you want to know about it ? Yes it's going to be Touhou 16. Don't know much about it so far, let's wait and see. The "make your own build" mechanic is at least interesting.

+Jonath Kane Gengetsu was intended to be (according to ZUN) the most "terrible" and most "fearful" boss. Think of her as a Proto-Yukari.

Rumia The Dark Well, she was the second extra boss though, keep that in mind. I still find Evil Eye Sigma to be much worse btw hahaha.

+tam hoa IIRC the MS and LLS "remakes" were in fact videos indeed whereas he used his Len'en engine for the SoEW remake, but I might be wrong. Anyway, I haven't seen any rule in ZUN's guidelines not allowing JynX to release his remakes at all. After all, there are quite a lot of fangames just copying the originals... So please, state your source ^^
