This is lesson 1 in a new series looking at finding a grouping of chords for the minor key progressions. I will use A minor for the example and show this in the 1st few positions as a primer.

Thanks for the lessons John. Do you have any lessons on how you place a strap on your banjo and the picks you use etc? thanks..

Mote, no I didn't make those videos since there are many many choices in picks and straps. There's myriad of ways to attach straps and to bend picks to your liking. My advice is to get Dunlop picks, .225 for starter picks and any name brand strap and follow the instructions on how to install it. Thanks for checking out the videos, appreciated!

Hi John, thanks for the lesson. Just a question : are there songs that use those minor chords ? I would like to listen to those, just to get used to those progressions. Thanks !
