The girl on this album front is Helene White, in art Helene Nomsa Brath, model for Grandassa models and one of the pioneers of the "Black Is Beautiful" movement.
I, too, have been listening and playing music for over 50 years..........not as well I wished that I did, of course..............but I am also constantly discovering new songs, new artists, new recordings. It's awesome.
I seen Lou Donaldson at the Half Note in the 70"s & caught him recently about 5 years at the C Parker Festival in Tomkins Square Park he is an fans favorite witty beautiful personality still going strong more power to him.🎷SOLID!!!!
