He is a good role model for children that have hearing problems. He learned how to deal with his disability, how to deal with being bullied because of it, but he also used it as fuel a determination. And back when he was young they didn't have the advances in hearing technology they do now. So look at all he accomplished by never giving up.
I have so much respect for Lou his father was a New York City police officer, or detective. Lou overcame so much and he seems like such a nice guy. I really have enjoyed having him on the planet when I’m on the planet.
Very happy for you with your new hearing Lou! {I doubt you'll see this comment but in case you do} As a little kid in the 70's I grew up watching you as 'The Hulk' it was one of my favorite shows. I loved the sensitivity & kindness of the character you played, a gentle giant! You are the reason why my interest in body building began!
Well done Lou! My nephew was deaf and had cereabal palsy from birth! He is now 30 and has just had cochlier implant, hopefully he will improve. When he was a teenager he went to a fair with a friend and they were attacked because they were signing! His friend had an implant which was damagef and he had to have surgery to replace it! Why do morons think they have the right to judge others!
