Had the t9 and loved the sound but ended up goin with the x10 for the waterproofing and build... both are phenomenal speakers but with me I have 3 kids under the age of 8 and we use outside or when they're taking baths or shower so def needed that ip rating!!!! Good video I got the T9-2 and love it cause it has the port I have it in my snap on tool box hutch 72” and man it amplifies the bass and it knocks hard af….. sounds way better than my Sony speaker xb41
The overall loudness and bass of the T9 is going to be better because you have larger drivers to produce better low end without it pooping out. If you aren't needing waterproof speakers the T9 seems to the be slightly better option for PARTIES. The X10 is better for portability plus compact carrying. I'm thinking of buying the T9. I have two Ion Pathfinder 280s and they're pretty good but the stereo pairing is pretty bad. It works great for like 20 minutes to 2 hours then they inevitably go out of sync and are like 20-30 milliseconds out of alignment. I can't deal with that. I dumped two first-gen Xtreme speakers because the battery was better and the output was better on the Ions. But these W-King speakers seems to be really good and tons of rave reviews. At $100ish I think the T9 is a monster deal. Think about this: if you're going to play music outside, the T9 is obviously better. The open bass port allows for a "louder" bass profile because you're going after that ported subwoofer design which might be a touch less accurate at this price range but is immensely louder because of the large amounts of air that can move around and keep the speakers from being restricted. I'm not an audio expert but I believe that's the reason the ported design is better for "louder bass".
Everyone loves a louder more bassy speaker, But honestly I would rather have the tribit x10 it's more portable and easier to carry around. And it's plenty loud and bassy.
Thank you for the comparison between these two speakers as I'm leaning toward getting the T9 for an event and I need deeper bass. I got the x10 for my girlfriend for Christmas and love it, but I do need deeper bass. My question is, have you checked out the new d10 and would it have deeper bass than the t9?
Thanks for watching and your feedback. They actually reaching to me to review the D10 but I haven’t received it. I have a 4-6 weeks of review backlog so even if I get it now it may take a while before I can review it. The D9 naturally is better for filling room and it will be a dangerous combo if you get 2 of them

It’s a tough one but if you want room filling and a little higher base (mainly using outdoor with a lot of people I’d get the T9 but if you want a little crispier sound And water resistant I’d go with X10
@Karma Sutra on some phones you can play your music on two devices . For instance my samsung ultra can connect to two different devices and play the same song

X10 is awesome after eq with Wavelet pro app. You can flatten the stock audio to start, lower the bass response, extend the highs and it loses none of the bass at high volumes.
