+blubyu Yup it's the wastegate. It just lets the exhaust straight out under the car instead of routing it back into the exhaust system.

It is either a waste gate or, if the car has it, the ALS-system. That spits flames through the turbo to keep it spooled up

bov's stop the air smacking into the turbo when the throttle closes giving you the "choochoo" or pigeon sound. Instead they give you the "pppsshhhhh"

Turbo flutter happens when your BOV is set too strong. It causes the compressor to reverse direction when the throttle is closed.. It will cause shaft play after a while. Whether it be in your pants due to the sexy sound or in the turbo due to damage the answer is yes.

ThePgR777 what if the person wants a Porsche but wants it to go faster? There isn't anything wrong with modifying a porsche, maybe he wants to stand out more from the Porsche community?

+ThePgR777 they were still testing it...it's not like you actually drive the car with the back exposed like that...aside from the loud exhaust after firing, it's not going to ruin or alter the performance of the car, only enhance it.
