@@mgcharoudin any chance owner of the R8 mentioned the tune he got? seems like decent set up for my R8. it looked like the car has some brake balance issues, or was it caused by the tires?
It has APR emblem on the rear. Probably has an APR stage 3 hybrid turbo kit (same engine as golf gti) on it and suspension mods, rear sway bar with semi slick tires. Those cupras with hybrid turbo can easily do mid 6 seconds 100-200kph which is similar to audi r8 v10.
You know, when you hear comments like the cars never been pushed this hard. It alwsys surprises me how so many people who own sports cars this powerful or even a lot less never learn to push them. It blows my mind when folks with cash have so much opportunity
Not sure if I agree with this. Do you think your typical owner can push a 600 hp car on the Nurburgring without 100s of laps of practice on that track? I don't think so, unless some serious talent. 😅
@@big-R that's definitely a valid point but you don't need to be at the ring to push a car that hard. The vast majority of people would be pushing a car harder at a different track, airfield etc. Harder compared to themselves that is. I agree with you but it still surprises me
@@Itsallfun3000Not sure if you have ever driven here but it's is a lot more difficult to take the car to its limit at the ring than a typical track. Anyway, I am sure we are both correct, some don't push their cars hard anywhere, and some are just surprised how fast you can go on the ring.
@@big-R I have a couple of times and I definitely cannot push very much at all. I've no shame in saying I would look a bit of a snail there but hopefully my point came across cool!

3:30 - no idea what this little gray car is but impressed how well it (kind of) kept up for a bit. I absolutely LOVE Audi and the RS Line and the R8! I'm going to get the Audi RS6 Avant in a couple years. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁

That grey seat leon was doin amazing keeping up, the v10 sounds amazing, i prefer it in the audi than a lambo. Not that ive drove eitherz but id imagine the audis more comfortable and probably handles better
@@ObiWT thats pretty good. Ive always thought like thst aswell when it comes to my motorbikes. My bikes 207kg with 106hp. It fairly shifts. My next bike is 142hp at 232kg
Not sure if you've hit a higher speed through Flugplatz up to Schwendenkreuz section before, but don't think I've seen you hit more than that 170mph+ before. 260kph+ quite a few times, but can't think of any 275kph offhand. Always loved the sound of the v10 R8 with or without exhaust mods.

Nice lap, that sounded great, very cool exhaust setup. But I just don't understand the bald tires. You know you're going to the 'ring for a track day lap, on top of that you're letting one of the quickest drivers on the Nürburgring drive it to the limit. Why not have fresh/decent wear tires? $100k++ car with some mods/exhaust, but come with bald tires 😆 Like preparing and grilling a nice steak but then using a butter knife to cut it.

What a noise! That APR/REVO Cupra was moving too! Would have liked to seen that M4 convertible schooled though. He was doing some good driving as well 😅
This is my 3rd favorite v10 sound (no offense intended). 1: LFA, 2: Viper with rolling anti lag (and side pipes). Audi R8's. I dont even need the video part, just make it a zen 10 hour repeat, that you sleep too.
