@@fakefake6813 what do you mean by the butterfly valves that GM makes? I thought the stock npp (dual-mode) exhaust from GM can only be quite or louder. Didn’t know you can specifically choose which rpm’s you want the car to be louder or quieter at
I have a Vette like that. Supercharged, headers, straight piped, no cats, but at idle and cruising it is pretty quiet. Had a squirrel in the way at an apt complex. Kid (maybe 5 yo) was watching it with his dad. Damn squirrel wouldnt move, so i revved to about 5k rpms. Basically sounded like someone took every nascar and jammed them to your ear. The squirrel went ballistic, the kid dang near did a backflip and the dad started to run for cover. I need to get a dash cam, it was hilarious.

Imagine having a muffler with a diverter that could switch airflow between the muffled exhaust and a bypass exhaust so you could run quiet or loud at will. Lol
I drive a straight piped manual 6.4... when someone says to rev it, I love holding the clutch and bouncing off redline. Car alarms go off and people hold their ears. It's great

I was in my foxbody sitting at a red light and this old guy in a truck pulled up beside me with a kid that had down syndrome and looked to be about 14. The young man was hanging out the window staring at my car and told me to rev it and the look on his face when I did caused me to forget cops exist and I launched my car into the intersection while all lights were red and ripped 4 or 5 donuts before I heard the sirens. As the cop asked me what the hell I was thinking I simply replied the happiness I saw on that young man's face was worth every penny this ticket is going to cost. The cop shook his head and simply replied sign here. 🤷 To this day it was worth it and I'll gladly do it again
Two things, Dual Exhaust setup (allows you to change between, Tour, Sport, Track, and Stealth mode.) And the fact of its 4 cylinder gas saving mode. Id say man was cruising in tour while not enough throttle to kick it into V8. Then it was about 3 seconds from the kid saying rev it, only takes about 1-2 seconds to drop into track mode. Last second is a push in the clutch or a slap into neutral. And pretty sure its stock, i myself have a stock SS but no Dual Exhaust sadly so i cant say for 100% its stock exhaust
@@PatsDynastyuh. what do headers have to do with a straight pipe..? if you delete your cars resonator and muffler youve got a straight pipe. and thats including the stock exhaust manifolds. headers are just added HP/sound
A proper exhaust is supposed to have some idle noise you ever been in an American muscle car you’d know they demand attention and are supposed to be loud cars mustang w/ a borla atak LTs and a X only way to go
It’s only loud when you push that thang but quiet when roaming around :))) I like that. I know he has corsa exhaust becuase corsa exhaust are known to do that
