Just from talking with friends we all agree that the Mickey Thompson ET Street SS hooks better than the Nitto 555R. It is a good street tire but for a summer car but doesn't hook up as well. I run the MT on mine. There's also slicks but that's just my input on DOT drag radials.
Nice one... sounds amazing. My buddy has a black one with all the bells and whistles from ZZP and all forged guts in the 3.8. He just recently took 2nd in class at the Pontiac Nationals in Norwalk with it. He wants to start doing the manual conversion on it shortly, that should be interesting. Honestly mine sounds just like yours but mine likes harder with custom 3.5 inch exhaust that splits off to 3inch duals then back off with 3.5 inch dual exhaust tips. But ours was Frankenstein and customed We where pushing 733hp with e85. It took a while to push it since we did frakenstiened so some parts are off of other cars and we managed to put a whipple on it so we are pushing about 18psi for now till we put the the precision 6262 on it. Not sure what we are gonna do but our goal is 900hp as a street car.

Sound bounces off your face, that's why you can feel loud noises. Being in the garage gave the cameras mic a more accurate sound clip. Mine just distorts out so I can relate.
I wish my 3400 monte carlo sounded this good I have a video of how it sounds right now on my channel it just has a cherry bomb and a resonator delete it sounds decent but nothing like this

There's an entire generation of American cars from the 90's to 2000's that should've been RWD, this is one of those cars. I believe they'd still be popular today if they had been.

What he said! L67 and get it decked/ balanced. Bore it over .20 and get flat top pistons instead of the dish ones. They get rid of heat better. Zzp heads and intercool the engine. That’s the most important thing because if you intercool they are bulletproof! Tune for e85 if you can if not 93. Build up the motor don’t worry about pulleys too much. I’m running a 2.8 pulley but my Monte SS is built for it and I’m seriously considering going up to a 3.2. I’ll make less boost but my motor is built well enough to swap that for more whp. This is where the balancing act comes in lol.
@@ViralkillkidFTW in Oz we do the maf delete on the 3800's & install a 3 bar map ( our L67's hav no map from factory just maf in Oz) & tune it of the map but pro's hav 2 use Kalmaker software 4 tuning. Our pcm's r delco units but r not supported by HPTuners so must differ somehow. U can however use tunerpro if u like.
